Vehicle Detail

1999 Pontiac Grand AM SE with the V6 3.4 engine. The mileage is unknown although the previous owner stated that it was over 180,000. The exterior paint is in good condition except a quarter sized spot on the very top of the car. The interior is in good condition except the dash peeling back from the bottom of windshield and the passenger rear door panel peeling back from around window trim. The car has an aftermarket cd player. The ac works and the previous owner just replace the ac compressor so it works good. The heater works. The cruise control does not work although could be simple part replacement. All power windows work. The passenger front rolls down although it scratches window when roll up or down, not sure what it is never looked into it. I replaced the passenger rear window motor and regulator. I drove this car fine for over a year even 4 hours away and back in a day. The car has the following problems. Currently needs battery and possibly water pump replacement. The car starts fine when the engine is cold. Then has a harder problem starting engine when warm not sure maybe an easy part replacement. The engine idles fine when cold although when warm idles weird. The engine had a slow coolant leak. So I personally installed new head gaskets set, intake manifold gaskets, everything on top of engine. I lapped valves, shaved cylinder heads leveled, replace spark plugs, put everything back together and engine runs by jumping off car since it does not have a battery in it. I drove it down the street and back and ran it for over ten minutes to check for leaks. The only other thing I hear in engine maybe the bottom end sounds weird, could be due needing oil change or something more serious like needing bearing replacement. If I had the time I would have rebuilt the bottom end also. I just used as a hobby and took plenty of time on the top end of the engine. I believe so far I have narrowed the last coolant leak down to a water pump replacement cause I've seen a slow leak from the water pump weep hole. Also I noticed when doing all the engine work that the previous owner must have had a minor accident in the front of the vehicle that caused for the replacement of headlights. The headlights look great although the bracket that goes across the front of the vehicle that holds the headlights need replacement. As far as I know that is all. Also the security light stays on the instrument cluster although not sure it that affects the operation of the vehicle. Contact for anymore questions. THERE IS A $100 DEPOSIT WHEN PURCHASING THIS VEHICLE NON REFUNDABLE
