MY WIFE AND I HAVE DECIDED TO SELL THIS ULTRA NICE 1973 BRONCO. THIS LITTLE UNCUT GEM HAS IT ALL. IT EVEN HAS THE ORIGINAL FLOORS AND PANS WITH NO RUST HOLES. NOT KIDDING! WE WILL GO THROUGH THE GOOD STUFF ONE BY ONE: BODY: UNCUT AND UNMOLESTED. STOCK HEIGHT, BODY SIDE MOLDING, SPORT TRIM, NEW CRL TINTED SLIDING SIDE WINDOWS, GRABBER ORANGE SINGLE STAGE PAINT , NEW TRIPLE CHROME PLATED BUMPERS, AND DOORS THAT ACTUALLY FIT LIKE THEY WERE INTENDED AND HAVE EVEN GAPS. THERE APPEARS TO BE ZERO RUST ANYWHERE ON THIS GEM INCLUDING THE INNER FENDERS AND KICK PANELS. UNDER THE DASH LOOKS BRAND NEW. I THINK THIS LITTLE GUY WAS STORED INSIDE IN OREGON FOR MOST OF IT'S LIFE BECAUSE IT'S AWESOME THROUGHOUT! IF I WERE TO CRITIQUE THE BODY AND PAINT I WOULD SAY IT NEEDS 1200 GRIT WET SAND AND A FULL CUT N BUFF TO MAKE IT LOOK NEW BUT IT SHOWS VERY NICELY AS IS. THE TOP IS WIMBLEDON WHITE AS THE FACTORY INTENDED. ALL THE GLASS IS EXCELLENT, THE WINDOWS ROLL UP AND DOWN VERY SMOOTHLY AND THE KEYS WORK ON THE DOORS AND REAR HATCH TO MAKE IT LOCKABLE. THE WEATHERSTRIPS AND GLASS GASKETS ARE REPLACED AND SUPPLE. THE BRONK DOESN'T SQUEAK AND RATTLE LIKE MOST. IT'S TIGHT ENGINE BAY: THE 302 HAS OVER 118 LBS COMPRESSION, 70 LBS OIL PRESSURE, AND STAYS UNDER 200 DEGREES. IT HAS A NEW HOLLEY 2 V, FACTORY AIR CLEANER AND FRESH AIR INTAKE, AUTO CHOKE, REBUILT ALTERNATOR, POWER STEERING PUMP, BELTS, HOSES, AND VINTAGE AIR GEN 3 AIR CONDITIONING. THE PROPER FAN SHROUD AND ROUTING ARE EVIDENT. IT HAS AN EXTERNAL OIL COOLER FROM A 428 SCJ FOR THE TRANSMISSION COOLER WHICH IS A NICE TOUCH.THE BATTERY IS A 700 AMP 600 cc BATTERY THAT SPINS THIS CRITTER LIKE IT SHOULD. THE POWER BRAKE MODULE COMES FROM TOM'S BRONCO PARTS. THE VOLTAGE REGULATOR IS ALSO NEW AND NOTHING IS THE SLIGHTEST BIT OUT OF PLACE THERE.THE AIR COND. WORKS AND THE HEATER WILL BLOW-DRY YOUR HAIR IF YOU WISH. THE VINTAGE AIR SYSTEM HAS A GREAT HEATER! CHASSIS: THE CHASSIS IS RELATIVELY STOCK EXCEPT FOR THE SHOCKS AND DUAL MUFFLERS. WE USED REPLACEMENT DRIVELINES AND ADDED THE REAR RECEIVER HITCH .THE HITCH IS WIRED FOR A 7 PIN FORD CONNECTION AND WE HAVE A 4 PIN BOAT ADAPTOR THAT GOES WITH IT FOR PULLING THE BOAT OR TRASH OR LANDSCAPING TRAILER. THE BRONCO HAS THE ORIGINAL INSIDE SPARE TIRE HOLDER. WE WILL INSTALL THE 235-75r15 SPARE BEFORE SHIPMENT. THE STEERING GEARBOX IS A REBUILT 73 AND IS STOCK 6.97 TURN TO TURN. THE ENGINE NEEDS NOTHING. INTERIOR: WE INSTALLED A 6 POINT FAMILY ROLL BAR, FULL CARPET KIT, INSULATION, REDID THE DASH TO ELIMINATE THE RADIO HOLE BECAUSE WE SUPPLIED THE SMITTYBILT CENTER CONSOLE AND KENWOOD KDC155U STEREO, 4 SPEAKERS, AND ALPINE AMPLIFIER. SOUNDS FANTASTIC!!!! THE SEATS ARE RE-UPHOLSTERED, THE DASH PAD IS NEW, AND ALL THE GAUGES WORK LIKE THEY WERE INTENDED TO WORK. WE INSTALLED AN ELECTRONIC FUEL TANK SWITCH COUPLED TO THE DASH SWITCH TO ELIMINATE THE MANUAL FLOOR VALVE. LEFT IS AUX TANK AND RIGHT IS MAIN TANK ON THE DASH SWITCH....VERY HANDY.THE BRONK HAS IT'S ORIGINAL STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN. THE FACTORY HORN WAS REPLACED WITH DUAL HORNS AND WORKS AS IT SHOULD. WE INSTALLED THREE POINT LAP/SHOULDER RESTRAINTS FOR DRIVER, PASSENGER, AND TWO REAR PASSENGERS THAT ARE LOW ENOUGH NOT TO CHOKE YOUR KIDS. A BRAND NEW KIDDE FIRE EXTINGUISHER IS ALSO INSTALLED IN THE REAR. THE TAILGATE HAS BEEN CARPETED AS WELL. THE QUARTER PANEL AND DOOR UPHOLSTERY IS NEW FROM TOM'S BRONCO PARTS AND LOOKS SHARP. THE FAMILY SAFARI TOP IS DESIGNED TO LOCK INTO THE ROLL BAR WITHOUT CHANGING THE WIPER BRACKET OR REMOVING ANYTHING EXCEPT THE HARDTOP. THIS LITTLE BRONK IS IN VERY, VERY GOOD SHAPE AND DOESN'T NEED AGE AS AN EXCUSE FOR FLAWS. IT STARTS IMMEDIATELY AND RUNS AS IT SHOULD. THE COLD START FAST IDLE WORKS WELL AND KICKS OFF WHEN WARM IDLE IS AT 600 RPM'S HOT WITH OVER 50 LBS OIL PRESSURE AT 180 DEGREES. THIS IS AN EXCEPTIONAL UNCUT..ONE REPAINT....1973 BRONCO.
