** This is my daily driver and has never left me stranded. Car runs like new and motor and transmission are perfect. I took very good care of this car as I do all my vehicles and im only selling to purchase another mercedes I have had my eyes on. Interior is an 8.5 out of ten and only for minor things. Exteriorior is same only because of minior dings here and there. I waxed this vehicle every month and also hand washed it every weekend. This vehicle is ready to be driven and wont let you down.**** Selling my 2001 Mercedes s500 183k miles located in Brandon FL. Car is in amazing shape for age both inside and out. Tan leather that has no rips or major wear. All power windows, locks, heated seats, power mirrors, rear power shade and power seats work perfect. Car has insanely cold ac that has no leaks and has kept me cold all summer. Recently replaced all upper and lower front control arms as the bushings were warn due to age. At this time i had the car aligned but since putting back stock tires and rims it has been pulling and may need both tire balance and alignment. Air shocks have been converted to coil over springs so no worry of having major cost of failing Also added rear trunk and window spoiler. Paint is in great shape but is over 15yrs old and has minor dents on doors due to parking lots. Also seats were painted with vinyl paint to hide minor wear but they do look great and im sure it could be removed and re died. Transmission and motor are very strong. This is my daily driver and absolutely do not want to sell but need more room for kids and dogs so purchasing a larger vehicle. I have also made it straight pipe from secondary cats back to mufflers and mufflers have been modified to make a nice tone. It has a nice muffled sound with deep roar so please be aware if you want quite sound you may need mufflers. This is a great car for anyone, and is very inexpensive to maintain compared to what people say. Feel free to ask any questions. Known issues:- Needs tires.- may need alignment and tire balance (would recommend new tires)- needs back rotors soon- car squeaks on passenger front side when taking sharp turns or hitting bumps at low speed but have changed all control arms and even swapped out new ones to try and fix. was told by mercedes they could take time to settle in but im not sure.- seats have been lightly painted but feel and look great- drivers section coin tray track is broken but functional as well pieces are in place.-plastic cover over left rear ashtray and cigaret lighter missing. This is inexpensive to get- most of soft close, including trunk and doors do not work- massage seats do not work-check engine light is on but code is for secondary air injection that i have even read can be fixed with fuel additive. Does not affect driving. code p0401 as show in photo- SRS light is on but I don't know why and has been on since I purchased.- Needs headliner for sunroof section but all other headliner is in great shape.-
