1987 TOYOTA SR5 TURBO EXTRA CAB 4X4 PICKUP Very nice vintage, mostly stock SR5 Turbo 4x4 Toyota! Excellent driver, does show normal wear being a driver. Paint is in very good condition but there are dings & scratches throughout. Very economical due to it's inline 4 and 5 speed. Very easy to drive and very reliable. This is a factory A/C truck but the Toyota compressor, condenser & related items had been previously removed. Living in Texas we need A/C so I am happy to report this SR5 Turbo has a brand new A/C! (compressor, condenser & hoses). I believe the Toyota turbo was a two year only option (1986-1987). Enjoy the convenience of power windows, power locks and tilt column. Previously this pickup had been upgraded with a 3 inch lift kit with tubular upper control arms, new fiberglass bed (now it has some scratches & dings), new bumpers, new tail lights, new Falken Rocky Mountain tires on recently powder coated wheels (31x10.5x15). The previous owner had also completed the following maintenance: brakes, front upper & lower ball joints, new rear wheel bearings & seals, new battery and alternator. I have installed a brand new Denso in-tank fuel pump & Denso strainer, new Toyota fuel tank sending unit bracket and AC Delco inline fuel filter. The windshield chrome trim needs attention, I had the upper chrome piece professionally epoxied but it appears the brackets used for the sides are not Toyota specific and should be replaced. A new Timken transfer case output shaft seal has been installed. The undercarriage has been maintained nicely. The gray interior is in decent shape given its age but it would benefit from new carpet & headliner, both show wear. The passenger side gray dash does have some splitting. I will include a new Cover King gray dash cover to improve that flaw. New Pioneer audio system with Auxilary & Bluetooth had been previously installed. Both new Tyger side runners and correct reproduction SR5 decals have been professionally installed this week. Very reasonable reserve for a mostly stock 87 SR5 Turbo 4x4 Pickup.
