The car was just sent to the dealer to have a passenger's airbag adjustment per a factory recall. While it was there, the dealer performed a 25-point inspection. The paperwork is shown in the photo section, only indicating that it's soon coming time for an oil change and drive boot replacement (at 45K miles). These are simple, inexpensive service items. The car has never been off-roading, in the snow or any other destructive environments but a beach parking lot. It has been used only around town, on California freeways, sometimes to move equipment and cases of books. I have continuously kept the car clean and waxed throughout its history. It has lived in my garage part-time and driveway part-time. All factory recommended services have been completed on-time. What's wrong with it, besides normal wear and tear? There's a scratch on the driver's side (difficult to see in the photos, does not penetrate the paint), and the plastic rear bumper guard is a bit dinged up. Also, the inside, plastic rear tailgate cover is scratched from normal use (clean but used). I have the documentation for the tires, which I bought from Costco. They have a 60,000 mile warranty and were installed at 28,000 miles, so there's still 45,000 miles left on them. The battery is only 18 months old, installed new by AAA. Today, I had the car hand waxed and the front floor mats shampooed.
