Up for sale is this 1966 Ford Thunderbird. I took this car in on a trade and really don't know much about it. I do know that it has a 428 that runs in it. The car appears to have been prepped and painted but then never put back together after. The door panels and a lot of the trim are removed and either all or most of it is in the trunk. They clearly were in the middle of putting it back together when they decided to let it sit for some reason. The paint looks like it will buff out to be very nice again and the sides of the car are still very glossy. It has a lot of new stuff on it like a brand new exhaust that sounds like a cool old muscle car as well as what looks like brand new Toyo Spectrum P225/70R15 tires on it. I took this car in on a trade of sorts and didn't do anything to it besides throw a battery in it to see if it starts. It does start and move under it's own power but it runs very rough. It leaks a lot of oil but that's about the only bad with it mechanically. I drove the car off the trailer and around the yard a few times, but I've never driven it on the road or anything because there isn't any insurance on it. The top looks to be in great shape. I've been under the car and I've checked it out the best I can and I don't see any rust on the frame and all of the floor and trunk pans seem solid. It has a bunch of trim and other parts in the trunk as well as old moldy paperwork that looks like it could be useful? Any questions feel free to ask. I can deliver anywhere in the US for a fee.
