Vehicle Detail

This was a California thing until 4 years ago when I purchased it. It is a dry car with absolutely no rust issues (except for tiny patch under battery) and is currently store in heated storage all winter. I posted a picture of one of the wheel wells were the undercoating peeled and the original orange and bare primer can still be seen. Since I purchased this vehicle I have had every intention on keeping it for a long time and I have done extensive work to making it a reliable vehicle using the BEST materials available for my restoration. Unforeseen circumstances force this sale. To start, the body was painted a vw grey by the previous owner. It was sprayed over the original orange, which can be seen in some chips and scratches. The paint is clean and shines nice but has a few blemishes because I drive this every chance I get. It has no dents or bondo anywhere. It came with crappy fiberglass fenders, I have since replaced the 2 front with og metal and the rears are car craft fiberglass. The motor is a 1776cc professionally built by CB Performance and comes with a build sheet. I added dual 36 dells and a stainless sidewinder exhaust. It has been very reliable and has made many trips to Greenbay, and Indianapolis and back to Chicago many times without any issues. After purchase I removed the body, ran stainless brake lines, a new master cylinder, German brake switches, rebuilt pedal cluster with wide foot adapter, wildwood front calipers with bad series disc brakes, 3 inch raised spindles with all new bearings, 1.5 inch longer rear torsion arms also with new bearings, bushings and new thing axles. New bushings on front adjustable beam, anti sway bar and new steering box. I topped it all off by spraying the top of the pans with bed liner and building a custom 1.5 inch body lift. I noticed 2 spots were the bed liner cracked but the extra material and some extra touch up L345 light grey will be included. I do not have the original bumpers, I started making custom ones with a swing out tire rack and hitch. There are 5 BTR aluminum rims and BFG 215 75 15 mud terrain tires 2 of which still have visible nubs on the tires(new) Interior has a bamboo tray, scat front seats and a billet steering wheel. The current top has a slight burn mark on it but a brand new Thing Shop Top is Included. The side windows are also thing shop glass sliders on front doors and solid glass on the back. I have a clear Illinois title in hand in my name. You are welcome to set up an appointment to inspect the car or ask questions that are not already in the ad.
