Overview: Here is a very rare find. This is a beautiful 1964 Oldsmobile Starfire convertible in excellent condition inside and out. It is a mostly original car with only 84K pampered original miles on it. This car is loaded with every option you could put on it from new. It also one of the most highly documented Starfire's around with binder of original documentation. Which includes its original factory build sheet, dealer invoice, protect-o-plate, owners manuals, dealer sales brochure, log book and several other receipts. We had the car completely serviced from front to back and everything works including the factory air conditioning. The car has a very good history, as it was purchased new by Army Sgt. Stephen J Zapcic in Elizabethtown, KY on 9/19/1964. He retired and drove the car back to his hometown of Hershey, PA. Over the course of 4 years, he put 54,775 miles on it and then sold it to his brother-in-law, Paul S. Epler, on 10/28/1968. Paul used the car for show and parades only until gifting it to his son, Frank M. Epler, on 1/7/1984. Frank used the car for show and parades only. Frank died in June 2001 and left the car to his wife , Edith S. Epler, who kept it in storage until her death in 2010. A local dealer in Virginia Beach had given his business card to Frank Epler years prior at a car show in Hershey, saying he'd like to buy the car if he ever wanted to sell it. Frank declined the offer, but kept the business card in the cars glove box. When Edith died, the estate lawyer found the card and sold the car to an individual in Virginia who kept the car for years. The car was just recently purchased from a prominent collection in North Carolina. The mileage is documented by service records and a hand written diary by both Paul and Frank. Including all the original documentation there are registration cards from 1968 to 2011, a service diary and a hand written statement from the previous Virginia owner. All of the chrome and trim on the car is completely original and looks excellent still. The blue soft top in brand new on the car and looks great. Interior: The beautiful all original blue leather interior looks amazing still in the car. It even has its original blue carpeting. The dash, gauge cluster and steering wheel all look mint. Absolutely everything works in the car except the clock and cruise control. Inside the trunk is excellent and all original. Mechanically: The car runs and drives excellent. It has ice-cold factory air conditioning that works absolutely amazing. This car needs absolutely nothing mechanically and is ready to drive and enjoy.
