1953 Chevrolet 5 window pickup / Short Bed / Half Ton Nice original truck that has never been cut or modified. Truck runs, drives and stops as it sits. Gas tank needs to be cleaned out so we have been running a separate tank for fuel. Converted to 12 volt it fires right up every time. 235 inline 6 runs well with good compression, 4 speed transmission shifts fine and has the low compound 1st gear. Still has enclosed drive line and stock gearing. Suspension is all original in front and rear. 15" original steel rims still all 6 lug with good bias ply tires. Body is all original with what appears to be original paint. On driver side front fender you can see a very old skim coat of bondo. Driver side cab corner has some rust, passenger side floor has rust just under the heater. Doors open and close nice. Door glass on driver side door is cracked. Passenger door glass is old but nice and rolls up and down as it should. All other glass is good. Wood in bed is older but still can carry a good load. Wood side racks and caps have been sold. Truck has a clean title with matching VIN on title and door jamb.
