Original 4 speed car except for the motor upgraded to a fresh 440 . ( 1970 pro-rebuild ) 69,000 original miles ! , Absolutely NO ISSUES WITH THIS CAR . Garaged West Coast Car , no rust anywhere and no metal ever replaced or any bondo hiding defects . Car was repainted approximately 5 years ago . Seats and carpet redone at the same time with original design and fabric and absolutely no wrinkles or weird fits , look factory new . . headliner and dash and door panels , visors are original along with gauges ,knobs and perfect working radio . all gauges function like new Steering wheel is an aftermarket model that seems more fitting than the original ..Even though the car has been stored and covered most of it's life , it looks , handles , and smells like a new car . This rare car is a truly an amazing survivor from those early muscle years . Paint is beautiful , inside the door jams , sill plate and underside . I spent hours with this car going over , under around and in, trying my damdest to find any flaws and the only thing I could find is on the right side passenger door panel upper chrome strip , about a 1inch area that the chrome is weak and on the drivers side door panel chrome strip , had a slight bend in it . hard to notice . Bumpers have never been straightened or rechromed , they are straight , true and shiny . All tinted windows are perfect and original . Front glass shows no signs of dust or rock chip abrasions . All glass is crystal clear .. All rubber trim around wind wings , door jambs , trunk seals etc. looks like it was replaced correctly with new materials but they never we're . and they show no signs of checking or cracks or any paint overspray . All chrome trim , inside and out is original perfect plating . , i searched hard for any signs of overspray on trim or rubber seals and the best i could find was only on the top of rear window in 3 small areas and there is a slight dimple on the rear top window frame trim . The grille and rear trim look factory new with no flaws at all ! and that i find shocking . All exterior lighting plastic lenses show no signs of cracking or aging , they are perfect . , Even the hood hinges , mounts and all firewall parts look new . top of radiator , front cross member and original decals , inside fender wells , mounting bolts , air cleaner and hardware look showroom new . Upon real close inspection , the black plastic trim on dash , gauge area has original chrome plate on plastic accents and viewing it from 5 inches away , there is some worn or missing chrome areas . from 2 feet away , it's impossible to see .All door handles inside and out , wind wing and inner chrome headliner strips show no sign of any pitting or faded chrome .Headliner is tight and perfect along with carpeting .rear seat and deck are perfect . Even the underside of hood that was repainted shows no signs of orange peel or defects . It's beautiful . After the paint and upholstery and engine up grade we're performed , the car never saw 100 miles . It was covered and stored in a dry climate , calif atmosphere warehouse . When you approach the car , open the door and sit in it , feels , looks like a new car , far from a restored beast . All door seams , hood and trunk seams , fit and alignment are perfect .All badges , hood letters and ornament show new . underside of car is factory beautiful . Tires are new and the rims are spectacular .without any marks or curb rash . these we're a common upgrade in the day .Eyeballing metal straightness front to rear north to south and all points in between shows no variants , only straight , smooth and clean . The pictures really don't do this car any justice , you should come here and look at it . As rare as this commando 2 is , I would find it hard to believe there is anything even close to it on this planet . Now let's talk about firing this beast up just cruising thru the gears . .. shake your world it's so responsive with massive horsepower to spare , scary fast . Any questions , please call me .
