Vehicle Detail

1972 Maico 125K Motocross bike. Included, is the original Feb. 1972 issue of "CYCLE Illustrated" magazine with this Maico on the cover and a great article and test ride by the then Editor, Gregory Gore. This original magazine is in very nice condition and is included with the bike. Now, the bike is all original. It still has the original Metzler tires on it!! The tank is really nice. No holes or worn spots. It is plastic. Original tank logo on both sides. Seat is all original. Original rear shocks are still on the bike. It is mostly complete, but is missing some things like the carb, air cleaner stuff, maybe a couple of engine parts too. I have pictured what is included. IF I ever find any more of the parts, I sure will send them to you but don't count on it. You are buying what is pictured. I make no promises as to specific engine conditions. I am not a mechanic by any means. I am selling to the highest bidder. This is an auction. Please don't be afraid to bid if you really are serious. PAYMENT: PERSONAL CHECK OR CASHIERS CHECK, PAY PAL FRIENDS AND FAMILY, OR WIRE TRANSFER. MUST BE PAID WITHIN 3 DAYS MAXIMUM. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING. EITHER PICK IT UP OR HAVE A SHIPPER OF YOUR CHOICE PICK IT UP. Here's the legal stuff. This is a RESERVE auction. No warranties expressed or implied , and as is where is sale. Feel free to have the motorcycle inspected if you like. All sales are final, and there are no refunds, no set asides, or returns, and inspections are recommended. Bike is located at my residence in Onsted, Michigan 49265. As long as the bike is paid for, then she can sit here for up to two months, but I would like it picked up as soon as possible. Please look at all of the pictures, and ask all questions before bidding as I will be happy to answer them. Thank you and happy bidding! Here's The legal stuff: "The description of this motorcycle is written to the best of my knowledge. However, I am by no means an expert on vintage motorcycles. Please don’t hesitate to ask for more photos and, if possible, come and look in person before the auction ends. ALL SALES ARE FINAL! If you have any questions, please contact me before the auction ends. No allowance or set aside will be made on account of any incorrectness, imperfection, defect or damage. Any descriptions or representations are for identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the motorcycle and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgment solely. Only a bill of sale. This is a racing bike and was never titled. Ebay gives you no choices that state it has no title.......very strange.
