Powered by its matching numbers 327ci V8, the car was acquired by the current owner five years ago and received a repaint, new exterior trim, engine rebuild, and new interior during the restoration. The power comes from a 327/300 V8 that was rebuilt at the time of the restoration to the spec of a 327/350. The seller reports that it produced 321 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels on the dyno after the rebuild was completed. Non factory upgrades to this Corvette include a set of non-original side pipes, Ram’s horn exhaust manifolds, Corvette-branded valve covers, and a classic balsa wood steering wheel. The car is sold with a clean NY State Title. Condition Both the brightwork and enameled trim appear to retain a good finish. All of the chrome and other trim was reportedly replaced at the time of the restoration. The cabin was also redone during the restoration. A center console extension with cupholder has been added and upholstered to match the rest of the interior. The instrumentation, steering wheel, and radio all appear to be correct Corvette items, and the seat upholstery is a good match for the original patterns.The 64k indicated miles are said to be accurate. The invoice from the engine rebuild is included. Numerous other invoices from Dr. Rebuild in Connecticut, who handled the restoration, are included with the sale.
