This is a 2001 Ford Explorer with 94,231 miles (add about 40 miles to this, as I am still driving it to work every day until sold). Purchased new in 2001, only 1 owner. Runs and drives great, but needs some exhaust work and emergency brake work (auto-shop estimate photo attached). It needs exhaust from behind the catalytic converter to the back of car. It is not loud, as the only part that fell off (now missing) is behind the muffler to the rear of the car. The emergency brake problem is currently causing some squeaking/rubbing noise while driving…noise is caused by emergency brake according to shop. It also has some rust that I have taken pictures of so you can see the condition. You also have to turn off the blinker after turning, as the steering wheel no longer trips it off. See window sticker for standard equipment and options included (running boards were taken off and disposed of due to rust). Air condition works fantastic! This vehicle was serviced every 3K-5K miles since it was purchased. This 2001 Explorer is being sold as-is with No Reserve. Everything works, except the emergency brake, no warning lights are illuminated on the dash (they all work), and interior cloth is in good condition, no rips or tears. Windows are all automatic and they all work. Tires are in good condition with the rear tires having lots of tread left. Original front floor mats were stored, thus they are like new, embroidered with “Explorer”. Vehicle has a clear title. Happy to answer any questions about this vehicle, as it has served me well. I can tell you how it runs today, but not tomorrow! This vehicle runs great, the motor starts fast, idles smooth and quiet. It does make a squeaking noise going down the road, as I previously mentioned, and the auto-shop tells me the emergency brake needs work. The transmission shifts normal. That said, as always and with any vehicle you may buy at any auction and or this Ebay auction, the buyer accepts all risk whether driving it home or arranging transportation. You will need temporary tags if you plan to drive it away. Virginia Safety inspection is good until April 2018. Again, I am selling as is with no guarantees.
