1998 Ford Ranger 302 V-8 with Lokar floor-shift C-4 automatic transmission. 4-wheel disc brakes, 8.8 posi rearend with 308 gears. Have original 373 ring and pinion, not in photo, and this is also included along with sale. Truck has Edelbrock 600 carb with electric choke. Has full MSD ignition. See photos. V-8 conversion was done by previous owner and I received no information regarding the origin of the engine. Exhaust system on truck consists of: two headers into dual exhausts with two catalytic converters into a single 3" tailpipe with a single Flowmaster muffler (basically a 2-into-1 full exhaust system). All I know is that this truck runs fantastic and does not smoke. Runs great, like a good-running stock 302 to me. Heater works well. A/C set up is all in there but the lines need to be tightened and the system needs to be charged. Interior good, wipers good, lights good, tires good. Glass tinted, crack in front windshield, rest of glass good. Tail light lenses good, headlight lenses are cloudy, had no luck in cleaning that off so I bought new lenses for the headlights as well as new blinker/marker lights. Have not installed these new lenses, they will go to the new owner. Seatbelt indicator in instrument panel stays on while vehicle is running, seatbelts work great though. Front main seal on engine has very minor leak, so does the O-ring at the tranny dipstick tube. Both leaks are very minimal. Best fuel mileage is 17mpg (when I keep my toes out of the carb). $250.00 non-refundable deposit due immediately at auction end. Remainder of full sale amount due within 7 days of auction end. Neither title nor truck will be released until full payment by either cashier's check or cash has been received and cleared. As is no warranty. Auction will not end early. If buyer does not take possession of truck and title within 30 days of auction end, buyer will pay $100.00 per day as storage fee (in addition to winning bid amount).
