ALL PANEL AND BODY GAPS ARE NICE AND FACTORY, ALL BODY PANEL BOLTS ARE UN-TOUCHED WITH FACTORY PAINT SHOWING NO FRONT IMPACT OR PANEL ADJUSTMENT HAS EVER BEEN DONE. THE FACTORY DARK GARNET BURGUNDY PAINT STILL HAS A REALLY NICE GLOSS AND REFLECTING SHINE THROUGHOUT THE TRUCK AND GETS A LOT OF COMPLIMENTS WITH THE TWO TONE SILVER DUE TO SO MANY 94-02 RAMS WERE GREEN, WHITE OR SOME SHADE OF SILVER. AS MENTIONED ABOVE I CAN TELL SOME OF THE SILVER ALONG THE BOTTOM HAS BEEN RESPRAYED WITH EVIDENCE OF A COUPLE SMALL AREAS OF A TAPE LINE TO BRAKE TO TWO COLORS UP AND THE OVERALL WAY THE SILVER HAS LAYED OUT, BUT IN MY GUESS IT WAS DONE CLOSE TO THE THE TRUCK BEING NEW BECAUSE IT HAS THE WEAR OF LITTLE STONE CHIPS AND SMALL SCRATCHES OF A 15+ YEAR OLD TRUCK AND HAS EQUAL WEAR ALL THE WAY AROUND. THIS TRUCK IS GOING TO BE 17 YEARS OLD AND WHILE SHE LOOKS INCREDIBLE AT THAT AGE AND TO HAVE CRUISED FOR 240K MILES IT DOES SHOW SOME AGE WITH SOME WEAR AND SOME SMALL COMMON SECOND GEN RAM EXTERIOR ESTHETIC FAULTS. IF YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE 94-02 RAMS YOU KNOW THE TYPICAL EXTERIOR TRIM ISSUES, BUT IF YOU DON'T THEY JUST SEEMED TO HAVE A HELL OF A TIME WITH THE EXTERIOR TRIM PLASTICS AGING AND FADING TOO FAST OR DEFORMING. THE PLASTIC BLACK TOP PAD ON THE BUMPER IS FADING ALONG WITH THE SURROUNDING GREY PIECE AND THEY HAVE A COUPLE AREAS WERE THEY HAVE A LITTLE 1/8TH INCH GAP BETWEEN THE PLASTIC AND THE BUMPER, BUT THEY STILL ARE TIGHT, LOOK GOOD AND NOBODY HAS DRIVEN SCREWS INTO THEM LIKE YOU OFTEN SEE. ANOTHER AREA IS THE BLACK PANEL ON THE TAILGATE HAS A SMALL CRACK AND IS FADING ALONG WITH THE DOOR AND TAILGATE HANDLES. THE LAST COMMON ESTHETIC ISSUE IS THE CHROME ON THE FRONT GRILLE HAS COMMON SMALL CHIPPING ISSUES AND THE HEADLIGHTS TEND TO DISCOLOR QUICKLY AND THE ONES ON THIS RAM HAVE BEEN SWAPPED OUT FOR ONE PIECE STYLE YEARS AGO, BUT HAVE THAT SAME DULL LOOK. THEY MAKE NICE REPLACEMENTS NOW DAYS THAT ARE VERY AFFORDABLE FOR AROUND $50-100 TO THE DOOR DEPENDING IF YOU GO FOR THE STOCK LOOK OR A CUSTOM STYLE. THE ORIGINAL PINSTRIPE TOWARD THE TOP IS AGED WITH SOME FADING AND WORN AWAY AREAS FROM 17 YEARS OF WASH AND WAXES AND THE BLACK DECAL ON THE TOP DOOR PILLARE BETWEEN THE FRONT AND REAR DOOR GLASS HAS SOME AGE MARKS, BUT STILL HAS NICE SHINE. THIS RAM HAS SOME OF YOUR TYPICAL WEAR IN THE PAINT SINCE IT IS NEARLY TWO DECADES OLD WITH SOME SMALL STONE CHIPS ABOVE THE HEADLIGHTS, SMALL STONE PEPPERING ON THE FRONT GRILLE, SOME ON THE TOP SIDE OF HOOD, ALONG THE SILVER LOWER AREAS ESPECIALLY AFTER THE REAR TIRES, BUT NOT NEARLY AS MUCH TOWARD THE FRONT THANKFULLY SINCE IT HAS HAD THESE NICE BODY FORMED FULL RUNNING BOARDS FOR PROTECTION. THERE IS ENTRY WEAR IN THE SILVER ON BOTH SIDES WHEN YOU OPEN THE DOOR, SOME SMALL ENTRY DOOR EDGE CHIPS ALONG WITH SMALL SURFACE SCRATCHES NEAR THE DOOR HANDLES AND KEY AREA. THERE IS A LARGER WAVY SCRATCH JUST ABOVE THE CUMMINS EMBLEM ON THE DRIVER DOOR, COMMON SMALL LOADING SCRATCHES AND CHIPS ON THE TOP BED RAILS AND TOPSIDE OF TAILGATE ALONG WITH A PRETTY GOOD SIZE SCUFF IN THE PAINT JUST BELOW THE TAILGATE HANDLE. THE DRIVER SIDE CORNER OF THE REAR BUMPER CAME IN CONTACT WITH SOMETHING THAT TWEAKED AND DENTED IT ON THE OUTER EDGE AND PUSHED IT INTO THE BOTTOM OF THE BED CORNER. THERE IS A SMALL THIN SCRATCH ON THE REAR PASSENGER DOOR JUST NEAR THE FRONT DOOR MEETING POINT AND THERE HAS BEN CONTACT ON THE FRONT RIGHT EDGE OF THE BED THAT CHIPPED THE PAINT AND PUT A SHALLOW FLAT DENT TO THE NATURAL CURVED LINE OF THE BED IN THAT AREA. WE HAD THE RIGHT TAIL LIGHT REPLACED SINCE THE ORIGINAL WAS CHIPPED, BUT IT COMES WITH TO SHOW IT WASN'T FROM MAJOR IMPACT AND WE HAVE THE EXTENDED PART OF THE RUNNING BOARDS THAT BOLT UP TO THE FRONT SIDE OF THE BED TO HELP WITH ACCESS TO THE FRONT OF THE BED AND GIVES THE TRUCK A MORE OF A GRANDPA LOOK. THIS OVERALL IS A VERY SOLID, CLEAN, ORIGINAL AND NICE TRUCK THAT HAS AGED THE LAST 17 YEARS VERY WELL.INTERIOR-THIS IS A NON SMOKER AND PET FREE TRUCK SINCE NEW AND IS IN VERY CLEAN, ORIGINAL CONDITION FROM TOP TO BOTTOM. THE LOADED DARK GRAPHITE GREY INTERIOR IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND IT IS IN NEAR PERFECT SHAPE. THE ONLY ITEMS HOLDING IT BACK FROM BEING A PERFECT 17 YEAR OLD INTERIOR IS A LITTLE WEAR ON THE DRIVER SEAT EDGE, WEAR CRACK ON DRIVER TOP EDGE OF CENTER CONSOLE, WEAR ON DRIVER DOOR PANEL ARM REST, PLASTIC SEAT BELT TRIM PIECE MISSING ON PASSENGER FRONT SEAT, TWO THIN HAIRLINE CRACKS ON TOP OF DASH BEZEL AND ONE THIN CRACK IN THE SPEEDOMETER CLEAR COVER. IT HAS BELTS FOR 6 WITH THE THE FRONT 40/20/40 BENCH SEAT WITH FOLDING CENTER CONSOLE AND FULL FOLDING REAR BENCH SEAT. EVERYTHING ON THIS TRUCKS INTERIOR IS ALL ORIGINAL EXCEPT THE NICE SOUNDING PIONEER CD PLAYER AND SOUND SYSTEM. ALL THE ORIGINAL BOOKS AND MANUALS IN THE GLOVE BOX. ALL SWITCHES AND LIGHTS WORK, QUICK MOVING PWR WINDOWS, POWER DOOR LOCKS, POWER MIRRORS, CRYSTAL CLEAR AND PROPER WORKING GAUGES. THE ENTIRE DARK GREY DASH IS IN IMMACULATE SHAPE WITH NO FADING, CRACKS OR UNSIGHTLY HOLES DRILLED. IT HAS A CLEAN DAMAGE FREE HEADLINER WITH NO SAG AND CLEAN VISORS THAT STAY UP OR IN ANY POSITION LEFT. BOTH DOOR PANELS ARE IN EXCELLENT SHAPE WITH NO FADING, CRACKS OR SCUFFS. I ALWAYS KNOW WHEN I GET IN A WELL CARED FOR 2ND GEN DODGE INTERIOR IF THE DASH IS NICE, THE HEADLINER HAS NO MARKS OR SAG , THE FOLD OUT CUP HOLDER ISN'T BROKEN OR MISSING AND THE LITTLE PUSH CLIPS ON THE TWO OVERHEAD CONSOLE STORAGE COMPARTMENTS AREN'T BROKEN OFF. FOR WHAT EVER REASON ALMOST EVERY DODGE OF THIS ERA I RUN ACROSS HAS THE FOLD OUT CUP HOLDER DAMAGED IN SOME WAY AND THE TABS BROKEN OFF THE TWO OVER HEAD CUBBYS AND THE DOORS JUST HANGING OR TAPED/GLUED ON AND THIS RAM HAS NEITHER OF THOSE NEGLECT ISSUES. NO SUN DAMAGE ON ANY PLASTIC PANELS OR TRIM PIECES AND IT HAS JUST A LITTLE SCUFFING IN THE INNER REAR DOOR PANELS NEAR THE BACK SEAT. THIS TRUCK CAME FROM THE FACTORY WITH THE RUBBER/ VINYL FLOOR LINING THAT IS IN EXCELLENT SHAPE, BUILT TO LAST AND EASY TO KEEP CLEAN. THE ONLY INTERIOR ISSUES IS THE OVERHEAD CONSOLE DISPLAY IS NOT WORKING AND I HAVE GOTTEN THE RIGHT REAR DOOR TO OPEN 3 TIMES AND NOW IT WON'T OPEN PROBABLY DUE TO THE LATCH GETTING DRY AND WILL NEED TO BE LUBED UP ONCE YOU GET IT OPEN, BUT THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT PULLS FAR FORWARD EASILY WITH PLENTY OF ROM TO GET IN FOR THE MEAN TIME. OVERALL THIS 01 RAMS INTERIOR IS VERY CLEAN, ODOR FREE AND HAS HELD UP TO THE LAST 22 YEARS OF IN AND OUT USE WELL! MECHANICAL- THE RIDE, SOUND AND DRIVE QUALITY OF THIS CUMMINS RAM IS KILLER WITH THAT ADDICTING DEEP 5.9 ROLL OUT THE EXHAUST. THIS IS A CLEAN TRUCK UNDER THE HOOD AND BODY THAT HAS A VERY TIGHT AND SOLID DRIVE AND FEEL WITH FIRM AND RESPONSIVE BRAKES AND STEERING WITH NO PLAY OR SLACK.
