For sale is a custom 1979 Camaro Z28.The car was build over the past two years as a strip/street car. About 500 miles on build, this thing is a beast.New project cars have come up and that is why I am selling it.Here are some details about the buildThe Good:Engine:- 450 Horsepower SBC LT1 350 -Forged LT1 Rotating Assembly-10:1 Compression Ratio-Comp Cams XR294HR-10 Cam-Hydraulic Roller Lifters -Comp Magnum Roller Rockers-Holly Strip Dominator Intake -ProMaxx Aluminum Cylinder Heads 200cc intake-Holley 750CFM carb, vacuum secondaries -HEI ignition -Summit Electric Fuel PumpTH350 Transmission:-Forged Input shaft-B&M shift improver valve body-B&M 2800 RPM torque converter-Upgraded sprang clutch/drumSuspension:-Torque arms on rear leaf springs-New front suspension-New Rear suspension-New Steering Components Misc Details:-Rebuilt 3:43 Posi rear end -Solid floor pans-4 wheel disc brake conversion-Upgraded master cylinder / brake booster-New brake lines -New gas tank-All Glass is good- All of the lights and signals work as they should- Completely rewired - New body seals all aroundThe Bad:- The Steering is still somewhat loose due to the rag joint being worn but is still good for street driving- The engine is primarily for strip driving so the idle is high and likes to rev to get to the power- The paint needs to be done and body needs to be straightened out - Passenger Side Quarter Panel is rusted out on the bottom- The dash needs to be completed all of the gauges are there they just need to be mounted - A headliner needs to be put in and the rear deck lid needs to be installed - Will need new tiresOverall this has been an awesome car to work on and drive. Its both been both challenging and exciting and I believe with a little more elbow grease on the body and love this could be a truly awesome drag car or even a daily beast to drive.
