1930 Ford Model A Fordor -Deluxe 100 Pictures - VIDEO walk around Hey, thanks for stopping by and checking out my 1930 Ford Model A Fordo, what a beautiful car. I love the color combination, it is just suburb in my opinion. These Fordor models are great, lots of room, you can take your friends out on the town, easy to get in and out of, lots of storage if you like to take tours with other folks, and keep all your stuff nice and dry inside. Sure the 2drs, are great, if you want to Hot Rod one, but if you really want to get out and enjoy with the Family the Fordor's at the ones to own. I have seen a few of these, with a converted front seat that lays down, which is cool, make an instant sleeping area for long trips back in the day. This car would make a great touring car, weddings, and parades. I had thought about trying to figure out how to keep this one, because it was such a big hit at my daughters wedding over the summer, it is very photogenic. It is just a striking looking car, especially with the red wheels and wide whites. These are perfect for summer, and winter cruising, sure I like a nice little roadster, but only when weather will allow. I like to get out and drive, and that is what makes the hobby really fun for myself. I got this little Model A from a good friend of mine here in Oregon, it was his pride and joy. He asked me to help sell it for him, its a great little car, but he and his wife have realized they have some other ventures they want to achieve after retirement, and it is time to pass the torch on this sweet little car. I included a Video link, and over 100 photos. The car is in great shape, so take your time and study the pictures, watch the video a few times. I try to go over as much as I can, but hard to hit every single thing I notice or don't notice. If you have questions, give me a jingle I would be happy to talk with you about the little A. Thanks, Jason 503-910-2085The condition of this car is very nice. It looks great, all steel original body in great condition. The doors open and close nice and line up great, hard to find on a vehicle like this. The front fenders are all steel, splash aprons are steel as well. The rear fenders are fiberglass. The body is original Henry Ford, nice and straight when you look down the sides, the fenders look great as well. The paint is in nice condition, there are a few flaws, that you will see in pics and video. I tried to point out the most obvious things. The biggest flaw is in the drivers side splash panel, were you can see the paint lifting some, do not push on it, or it will crack, the best thing would be to do, is first leave it, or if you want to sand it back out, and repaint the slash apron, that could be done as a weekend project. Also at one point it got a gas leak, and it leaked down inside the car, and got behind the paint, on the passenger side of the cowl, and it lifted the paint a little bit at the bottom of the cowl, you can see a couple small bubbles and imperfections. The fuel line has all be repaired and such so that is not an issue at this time anymore, it happen, so he fixed it right away. The glass all looks in good shape, the doors open and close, and windows all open as they should. There are some small chips on hood hinges, piano hinge on hood etc. The paint I would say on the car is maybe 10-15 years old. Overall, it is very presentable and looks great for a very nice driver, parade car.Interior is in great shape, all redone, matching door panels, and seats, headliner, very clean, non smoker. Everything looks good inside the car. You can see a little clear on the instrument panel, on the edges it has lifted a tiny bit but over all you have to look close to notice on the wood graining. Overall I like the interior a lot, best thing is there is a ton of leg room inside this car, so if you are tall, especially for a driver over 6' it is great. The previous owner is around 6' 2" and it was great. Mechanically it is in pretty nice condition, it does start right up and idles good. If you never driven one of these before, they are easy, just have to have your gas mixture correct, and spark advance in the right spot, they all function the same, but they all sit a little different. They do ride a little rough, its not like driving a new Honda or something like that. It does run good, and goes down the road just fine. It has an EZ steer steering box on it, which is a nice add. One thing I did not put in my video, is there is a little play in the steering box, this is not a box I have had before, people say they are great. There is a little wander in the steering wheel, so maybe it needs to be adjusted I do not know, I would say there is about a 1/4 play in the wheel, it does drive nice and straight down the road though. The engine is not the original to the car, its ID number on engine is AA1567150, the Oregon DMV went ahead and put an Assigned VIN on the door jam on the drivers side, so it could be visible identification, which is common on some of these old 20's and 30's rigs. Its ID is 0R90369, I show pics of it and clean Oregon title, so that is all good, they just did that for identification purposes. The brakes work good, and it stops nice and straight. The lights all work good as well."IF YOU WANT A BUY IT NOW OPTION - GIVE ME A CALL" D E N W E R K S I've sold classic cars on eBay since 2003. During the past 14 years, I have sold around 900 classic cars sold online through eBay, Craigslist and BringATrailer auctions to buyers across the country and internationally, including Europe, Dubai, Australia, Japan and Brazil, just to name a few. What I love about these old cars, is that I get to own some of my favorite cars one at a time, I have turned this passion into a business, but for me it is an awesome time to enjoy the cars themselves. I've enjoyed getting to know other car enthusiast from all over the Continent, especially some that have become very good friends of mine because of our love for cars. If you would like to call me and talk about the car, that would be great. I would love to help you out. Feel free to schedule a day to come out before you bid or send a friend, inspector or transporter. Although I always try to detail every nuance with the vehicles, it is always better if possible to see it with your own eyes. I am close to a major airport and many transportation options. These are classic vehicles with lots of history. They are used, and not perfect. They don’t have warranties or guarantees. Each vehicle is sold as-is. There are many reputable inspectors in and around Salem and I will accommodate their schedules. I try to give a good description and post at least 75 photos so you can get a good gauge of what it is, and isn’t.
