Listed is my 1972 FJ40. I purchased the vehicle in 2007 in original form at around 100K miles from a family in Chandler, Arizona who owned it for many years and took great care of it. Shortly after I owned it unfortunately I incorrectly installed a new distributor and after a few miles seized the in-line 6. Long story short, I inherited an incredible gift from a family member which was a built SBC 355 and decided to stuff a NV4500 5 speed transmission behind it. I purchased the tranny new and have receipts for everything. Runs great which you can see later in my Youtube video https://youtu.be/epfsq2h-EIQ . The motor/drivetrain was built about 5 years ago and has less than 5K miles on it. The original rear axle is stock with no recent service, however I just had the front hubs all rebuilt with new bearings, seals and gaskets when the new Wilwood disc brake conversion was installed about 500 miles ago. New Master Cylinder and fresh brake fluid throughout entire brake system. Drives and runs excellent! Motor- SBC 355 4 Bolt Main Roller- Dyno'd @ 436 HP and 442 Ft/Tq- (Have video and printout) CAT 5140 Forged Steel Crank Flat Top Speed Pro Forged Pistons AFR 180CC aluminum heads- 2.02 intake/1.60 exhaust (3/4" thick head deck for a blower or nitrous if motor put in another vehicle) Comp Hydraulic-Roller Cam 280HR- Comp Hydraulic-Roller Lifters with Ultra Pro Magnum 1.52 Roller Rockers Edelbrock Performer Air Gap intake Holley 750 CFM (Part #4779) Carb MSD Electronic Ignition (MSD-8361) MSD Distributor Edelbrock Water Pump Internals assembled with ARP bolts/hardware (Have Receipts) Fel-pro gaskets Transmission- New NV4500 5 speed conversion Center Force Clutch Advanced Adaptors components New U-joints and balanced drive shafts Transfer Case- Original/Stock unit Axles- Original/Stock Interior- Original front seats reupholstered in great shape Jump seats gone- Replaced with straight flat bench Shoulder and lap belts installed Additional- Less than 5 years old and under 5K miles on everything below Iron Pig power steering unit Wilwood Brakes All new Old Man Emu leaf springs (greaseable pins) and shocks (2 1/2" lift to the front and balanced by 4" lift to the rear) New tie rod ends New steering damper (Old Man Emu) New Goodyear Wrangler Teflon Kevlar 33" tires mounted on American Racing ATX Mojave Teflon coated 15X10 wheels All new fuel lines, hoses, and belts throughout Bull Bar front bumper with winch mount Full 6 point family roll cage ( Weld to frame; not just a cheep bolt in kit) Disclosures Turn signals are intermittent- Maybe a ground Horn works but temporarily disconnected due to short Minor engine oil leak, believed to be coming from valve cover gasket.
