This auction is for a beautiful 1959 BMW R26 Twin Plug Single Cylinder Vintage Motorcycle. All matching numbers It received it's Junior First Award at the June 2017 Dixon CA annual judging meet, scoring 97 1/2 points out of 100 in Restoration Class. The few points deductions were for small cosmetic flaws, and while the average person would likely not notice them, the AMCA judges are VERY picky! The bike runs just like a fine German piece of engineering should! The engine, transmission, clutch, and brakes, speedo and lights all work flawlessly and there are no leaks. The original Buco Panniers sport the BMW Livery and correct style vintage Roundels. They come mounted on correct original brackets that fit several different models from the period. The correct Metzeler tires are new. In short, this is a Collector Quality Vintage Motorrad from the late '50's that you will be very happy you own if you are the winning bidder. Winning buyer must pay a $300 non refundable deposit within 2 business days of end of auction via Paypal and the balance to be wire transferred to my bank within 3 business days of end of auction. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, although I will assist with getting it to the carrier of your choice locally here, and can suggest a very reliable carrier if you do not have one. Shipping will likely run between $600 and $800 within the US.
