Last passed Maryland State Inspection when purchased on October 26, 2016, from a family friend who owned it since 2013 and only placed 21k miles in three years. We have only placed 2,900 additional miles on the car since we purchased it as it was an extra family car. Best winter car I have ever driven. It has been parked and without tags since February 2017 when my son left for school in order to save on young driver insurance rates. I have invested in multiple repairs and upgrades, since the purchase plus paint and wheel work due to a scratch placed on the car while being parked in front of our house. New parts by my mechanic include: A new radiator, upper and lower hoses, new thermostat, a new alternator, new sound system, including front and rear door speakers, with DVD player and hands free bluetooth for connecting your cell phone, new BMW vinyl mats, new driver's door interior handle, wheel re condition and full new paint left side. New battery and other parts by previous owner. Previous owner was a retired engineer who took a part time job delivering Auto Parts so it has many new replacement items from his ownership. Fully serviced by Valvoline with Fully Synthetic oil and lube. Last repair included the replacement of the alternator which now requires a "Code Clear". Title in hand is clear no salvage data on present title. However, car title search shows Salvage 01-16-2002 BELTSVILLE,MD, Rebuilt/Rebuildable 02-27-2013 GLENELG,MD, Rebuilt/Rebuildable 04-05-2013 COLUMBIA,MD which seems odd that it would be rebuilt again so soon.We were told that the car was rebuilt buy our family friends garage before they purchased it in 2013. Supposedly it was an undercover police vehicle at some point. Previous paint comments covers fully repaired scratch on drivers side and pictures show all new paint on entire left side. I also made them recondition the wheels and they all look great.Also included in the sale:A Zetta Guard Back Up Camera, ZBC-100, SKU# 10022, that we purchased with the new stereo system but never installed.A BMW all Models 1982-2008 Service Repair Workshop Manual on CDROM. Purchased on Ebay.I also found the former owners Auto parts receipts for some of the items he replaced and included them for your information. Included a new starter, battery, and brake parts. Car is all charged up and ready to go! Thanks again!
