If you have an EBay Feedback score less than 5, please contact me and let me know that you are a human, and you understand that a bid is a contract. 1972 BMW R60/5 - Toaster Tank Airhead Barn Find This is a 1972 BMW R60/5 Airhead that was discovered in a local TN barn. This bike was reportedly parked in the mid 1990's, which is consistent with the license plate on the bike. The engine seems to be seized, as the bike will not kick over with the kick pedal. The paint on the gas tank is peeling and showing rust in spots, but the inside of the tank is extremely clean with no rust. All numbers match between frame and engine. The images should tell most of the story of the bike's condition, but please feel free to ask questions. Local inspection is welcome. I'm happy to assist with loading, but shipping, and making shipping arrangements, pricing, etc. is solely the responsibility of the buyer. The motorcycle should be picked up within 14 days of the auction's end. A PayPal Deposit of $100 is required upon the auction's end, and full payment via bank transfer, cashiers check, or cash in person is due within 5 days. Title will be released upon full payment and pickup of the bike. The bike will not be released to a buyer or shipper until full payment has cleared.
