I want you to know exactly what you are bidding on. If you have an EBay Feedback score less than 5, please contact me and let me know that you are a human, and you understand that a bid is a contract. 1970 BMW R50/5 Project Bike This is a very low serial number bike, and the 500th R50/5 produced by BMW. R50/5 VIN's started at 290001. This airhead is a local barn find and has been sitting for some time. It has reportedly not run since the 1990's. The bike is mostly complete, but is missing it's seat, headlamp, trim ring, and key. I do have a clean and clear TN title in my name. The bike has a ding on the left top of the gas tank, but the tank is clean and dry with no rust. The engine turns over well with the kick lever. The photos should tell most of the story, but please feel free to contact me with any questions and local inspection is welcome. I'm happy to assist with loading, but shipping, and making shipping arrangements, pricing, etc. is solely the responsibility of the buyer. The motorcycle should be picked up within 14 days of the auction's end. A PayPal Deposit of $100 is required upon the auction's end, and full payment via bank transfer, cashiers check, or cash in person is due within 5 days. I will not accept PayPal for full payment, unless you wish to add 5% to cover the associated fees. Title will be released upon full payment and pickup of the bike. The bike will not be released to a buyer or shipper until full payment has cleared. It does cost time, energy, and money to list things on Ebay and non-paying bidders are often those with zero feedback scores or new accounts.
