Up for bid is my 04 volvo v70. I've own this beautiful platinum gray wagon for 3 yrs and used as Uber car in the past.. She sat park for a good 1.5 years ( note fade on roof/hood) due to a failed transmission... This is a straight body, clean Fl title w/ ZERO rust on it, the original paint still shine and so does the upgraded HID blue head lights. I am a Volvo tech and truly went in on said car. The engine, transmission (seamless shifting) & suspension are all in harmony.. The turbo pulls fine too, giving this 5 cylinder wagon the feel of a 6!. I've made some pros & cons (see below) and the "pros" definitely outweigh the cons, all the things that go bad @ high mileage on these cars were all taken care of, all the features work! the ac is cold! I did bypass the heater core so this baby presently have no heat but will install the hoses back if need be. As said above under description and condition " I want this to go to a happy home" for I've put lots of $$ sweat and and curse words (lol) into this vehicle. PROS:.fully rebuilt head cylinder & gasket n seals...transmission replaced along w/ rebuilt valve body.timing belt/tensioner / idler including water pump all new.all cam seals, front and back too.new lower control arms & ball joints (tight ride!).full tune-up, ngk iridim spk plugs, K&N filter n all coils replace.all features work incl. factory radio cass / cd (optional alpine sub & amplifier).new ac compressor (deft helps in these 90 degrees days in Fl).manual steptronic option shifting fully functional...not a DROP of fluid leaking (ha! I'm a perfectionist and fix cars as if M getting ready to drive em!)..I can go on & on but don't wanna bc the amount of $$ time/ labor were off the charts! CONS (where you pick-up from where I left off):.roof/hood are fading from sitting in sun, some light scratches too. A slight dent on left fender..I strongly recommend 4 new tires, the presently 235/45/17 are ok but mismatched...leather seats are cracking(especially driver) but not ripped.I recently replace one of the motors in the driver seat, it now works fine but that whole procedure of taking the seat out must of set off the "srs" light on the dash, hopefully will reset it b4 sold...I'm also getting a p0017 code (exhaust cam vvt adjustment) which I will also fix b4 sale... LOL everyone say this looks like a California surfer car!! Winning bidder will truly appreciate the love that I've put in this.. Update as of 8/24 .SRS light is now reset .check engine code was an adjustment on the vvt exh. cam.she purrrrsss... no!! Roaaarss!!! lol good luck guys, this is truly an enthusiast type of car.. as said, I put tons of love into her and want her a good home... Str8 body and zero rust!!! Everything is stock except the hid and K&N air filter.
