Vehicle Detail
Hi Folks, I am selling the very last motorcycle out of my collection. It's the last one because it's my all time favorite, go to, motorcycle. My wife and I have retired and now live full time in our RV. Bringing the Bonnie and sidecar with us isn't an option. This motorcycle is a 2010 Triumph Bonneville T-100. It runs perfectly, starts right up, idles smoothly, shifts excellent! The sidecar was built by Claude Stanley. He is very well known in the sidecar industry, and has an impeccable reputation. I was able to talk Claude into building a prototype "bullet" style sidecar. He had always wanted to build one, but the right customer hadn't come along. Until me! http://freedomsidecars.com/sidecars/bullet.html Most sidecar rigs that you see for sale are just a motorcycle with a sidecar bolted on. But to have a properly sorted, and therefore, easy riding, sidecar, there are a number of alignment procedures that take place. Also, I have added a number of other items that make this sidecar drive like a dream! I don't think there is a more gorgeous, better driving, or more comfortable sidecar rig in the USA. Period. My dog usually rides in the sidecar rig, and my wife rides on back. Sometimes, I have 2 grandkids in the sidecar, with the dog! As you can see, I also have several different seats, depending on what type of ride I want, and the look I am going for. Below are the modifications I made, and extra parts that come with the motorcycle: *Triumph Napoleon bar end mirrors *Triumph fly screen *Triumph chrome cam covers *British Customs Sleepers Exhaust *British Customs air injection removal kit *British Customs air box removal kit *Cibie headlamp reflector and replacement bulb *Eastern Beaver headlamp wiring harness with inline fuse *Norman Hyde “M” bars *Arrow 2 into 2 tune installed by authorized Triumph dealer. *PDF version of service manual *All OEM equipment *British Customs quick release seat bolts *Hagon rear shocks and front springs and 15 wt. oil *EBC HH brake pads front and rear *British Customs clutch lifter arm finisher *New Bonneville Gen-Mar handlebar risers *Corbin Smuggler seat *Thruxton rear fender *New Bonneville Pedestrian Slicer *New Bonneville Lucas lights *Triumph King and Queen seat *Triumph Center Stand A9758008 *Triumph High Sissy Bar A9738018 *Norman Hyde Steering Damper *Avon Sidecar Triple Duty Front Tire *Superbrace Fork Brace *RaceTech front fork springs *Cogent Dynamics DDC Cartridge *Mobil 1-108, Mobil 1 Racing 4T 10W-40 *17 tooth JT Front Sprocket *Tune ECU Cable *New Shinko Trail Master E-705 130/80-17 In addition to the above information, this bike runs Flawlessly. I repeat, FLAWLESSLY. I am a fanatic about maintenance. All of my motorcycles get at least one oil change a year, whether the mileage indicates it is due or not. Generally speaking, I change oil approximately every 5,000 miles on all my motorcycles. All of my motorcycles are stored in a temperature and humidity controlled environment. The temperature never gets below 64 degrees, nor above 76 degrees, and the humidity is controlled between 45 and 55%. All of my motorcycles get ethanol-free gasoline and SeaFoam, always. Also, all of my motorcycles are kept on Battery Tender's year round. Mileage may increase a little, as I will probably ride it occasionally. In fact, today she is going to get a nice ride. I always ride my motorcycles long enough time to get the engine up to operating temperature in order to eliminate condensation inside the engine. Feel free to contact me about seeing the bike in person. I welcome visitors! Test rides may be available, but please have cash in hand. Thanks for your time, Chris McCarthy, 419-656-7127
