Vehicle Detail
Fixer-upper. I believe there is a leak in the intake manifold gaskets allowing coolant to enter the intake. Although the engine will probably start and run fine this problem should be fixed before running the truck anymore. Bot it in 2010 to drive between San Francisco and my place in the foothills. Bot new shocks for it but once the drought set in I could get into my place with just my car so I left the truck up there and put very few additional miles on it. Hence, I never bothered to install the shocks, which now come with the truck still brand new in original boxes (see pics). It has a manual transmission, which is hard to find and is a big advantage in hill country for downhill braking and better fuel economy. As I recall, the rear axle ratio is good for highway driving for even better fuel economy. It's low mileage for it's age. It has had some recent work/parts of value: Fuel pump and screen (Ford dealer installed with aftermarket part) Fuel filter (local shop Ford part) Fuel pump relay (Ford part) Idle air bypass valve (Ford part) Spark plugs (Ford part) Cooling system pressure test hot and cold: Ford dealer: passed Locking gas cap (Ford, I think) Truck is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end auction early. No reserve. Starting bid is less than I spent just on the fuel pump replacement. That's a deal! NADA low retail is $2900.
