This Corvair is a great project car. Lots of new parts throughout the car. The body is in great shape. Very little rust. Car was originally from Florida and was brought to Michigan 12 years ago. Car has never been driven in snow and hardly any rain from the time I have owned it. Just dropped the Turbo motor in last year. Engine Block, crank and bearings has around 20,000 miles. THIS MOTOR WAS BUILT WITH TURBO MOTOR PARTS!!! INCLUDING BLOCK AND CRANK!!!! Has a lot of new parts including Rebuilt Turbo from Clarks, new exhaust manifold, new inlet and outlet pipes for turbo, rebuilt heads with new valves, rebuilt carb, electronic ignition, new spark plugs, new wires, rebuilt distributor, offenhouser 2 quart oil pan, new sump, new oil pump, . All exterior parts on bottom half of motor are powder coated, including valve covers, exhaust manifold cover and etc. Transmission is a rebuilt 4 speed purchased around the same time the engine was built. Engine needs work! Even though I have recently built it I did use a lot of older parts. Including push rod tubes, which do leak. From what I can see the motor needs minor repairs including- Flywheel, push rod tubes, lifters, pressure plate, and clutch. Engine does need to be looked over of course Now for the body. The frame and body are extremely sturdy. Has new chrome bumpers. New taillights with housings. Comes with all emblems and air outlet grill. Comes with chrome under guards. Has 14 inch rims with all new tires. Also have 13 inch rims with no tires. Underneath is clean and painted. Needs to be looked through and updated (springs and shocks). Gas tank has been dipped and rhino coated. Floor is very sturdy and clean. Car also has all brand new brake lines and hoses. Interior is in decent shape. Car has brand new black carpet from Clarks and new headliner. Comes with new visors. Does NOT have original seats, but all MOUNTS haven't been altered. Dash is clean with all electrical functional. Windshield is cracked but I do have a replacement with new rubber. If interested in the car please don't hesitate to shoot me a message with any other questions.
