This car was detailed less than three weeks ago and it looked great! That is until it was in a bizarre accident where a driver backed into the driver's side of the car at low speed. The airbags did not deploy, nobody was injured, and I drove home 30 miles from the scene. It runs great. This car has body, wheel, and one tire damage and the estimate to repair the damage from a trusted shop is $7,200. This is for parts and labor to make it back to looking perfect (or as perfect as possible). If you are willing to live with some of the cosmetic issues, it would likely be less than that. The car was NOT totaled by the insurance company. According to Allstate, if I paid to have it repaired, the value would be around $14k. If you have a body shop, know how to do body work, or are looking for a car to part out, make an offer.
