Vehicle Detail
*** This XK 120 Roadster Is Located In Villanova, PA, 19085, about 20 Minutes outside of Philadelphia *** Not in Lumberton, NJ *** I am listing this Jaguar for my good friend. Should you not like this color combination, he also has a 1953 XK 120 available (see picture #24), similar situation with storage. Simply a good, straight, early, XK 120 roadster with some nickel / dime issues that someone with minimal skill can easily sort out...This is a good Jaguar for the end user. This XK120 was stored immediately, after being completely serviced along with rebuilt carburetors, a new wire harness, brake system overhaul, suspension work, new fuel tank, a complete new interior, top and boot kit and many other new parts. Except for me not cleaning this up a bit, there are some areas needing attention. Unfortunately the engine has a non matching number cylinder head, which is from a later car. The engine block number matches the Data / VIN plate. She had an earlier repaint with some runs, chips and other blemishes. The doors are solid, but needing adjustment. A couple of grill vanes are loose, she's missing a wiper arm and a few minor bits, with a incorrect exhaust. No wheel jack or tools. Some incorrect screws, clamps, etc.. A mouse was in the trunk / boot and messed up the newer material. She hasn't had much exercise in the last six years, she's been sitting in the garage. I started this 120 Jaguar from my jump box, on the old fuel. (one 12 volt battery in this car, the double 6 volt battery box is in beautiful condition) The engine was quiet, she coughed a bit when I hit the accelerator, but she has good oil pressure with no bad engine noises. Here is an opportunity to purchase a nice, early XK120 Jag that was never hacked up or built from 3 rusty cars and a pile of patch panels. She will only go up in value and can be readily enjoyed with minimal attention. Please call Joe *** 609 - 518 - 0878 *** with any questions *** or to request the additional pictures *** Again, This car is located in Villanova, PA. 19085 and I welcome your inspection. A $1000 deposit is required within 24 hours at the end of the auction (PayPal). The balance of the funds by a wire transfer directly to the owner. All funds must clear prior to pick-up. I will assist with shipping but the buyer is responsible for pickup and all related cost. Sold as is where is. Track Page Views With Auctiva's FREE Counter
