1967 Triumph Bonneville TT Special or T120TT In the Summer of '67 if you wanted a 2 wheel hotrod - this would have been at the top of the food chain! This bike was built at the end of 1966 with the 1965 frame / steering geometry (head angle).This batch of bikes was recently "discovered" and discussed in several British bike forums. - thus giving 1967 two different TT models. Frame and engine are matching (54xxx). Originally sold from the Vallejo, California Triumph Dealership. Always a California bike. A headlight and taillight were added at the time of sale (1967) making the bike street legal.The "shorty" mufflers were added to tone down the straight pipes for street riding. Tires are new Dunlop Gold Seal K70's. The seat was rebuilt with layered foam - original seat cover retained.After 2+ years of storage - with fresh gas and new TriCor fuel lines ... she fired on the 2nd kick!
