Clean,no dents in rust-free fuel tank,K&N air filter (843)465-2038 Pics show flaws resulting from accessory installation. Holes in fender from extension flap, paint abrasion from luggage rack, scratches in swing arm & inspection sticker removal on fork lower & missing rubber damper on cylinder head, right side. Carbs are original, the paint has been removed. Shift linkage has some wear, but works well. Needs tires. Front is worn Michelin Commander, 100/90 touring tire , installed by owner previous to the owner I purchased from. I believe it to be the original owner, but have no way of knowing. It appears he was a "responsible adult", by the accessories & tire selection. Rear tire is a Kenda 150/70, improper size for 2.50 rim, installed by previous owner, who also trimmed the rear fender, and used the bike for commuting to work for 1 year. New 530 sprockets & chain are installed, but the chain is of low quality. This is a solid example of the pinnacle of the twin shock GS series. Although I have no recent feedback, what is there is from a GS1000S sale 13 years ago.(very good, just as listed) Please call the telephone number if you have any questions.
