Here is an Extremely rare 1961 Buick Lesabre 8 passenger wagon in amazingly preserved original condition for an early 60s station wagon. In 1961 Buick only offered its fullsize wagon in the Lesabre model; most were 6 passenger. Its been repainted in many spots but has very little rust or interior wear. The original carpet has seen better days but aside from where the driver sits the entire original interior is very good., especially the dash and headliner. The car was originally purchased in Clearwater, Fl. and was moved by the family to Michigan in the 80s where it was basicly stored in a barn until 2 years ago. The true mileage is unknown as the speedometer/odometer are not hooked up, but I'm guessing the readable mileage of 112,200 miles is somewhat close. I purchased it 2 years ago with the dream of restoring this excellent candidate but life happens and now it needs to go to you. As stated above: "This rare wagon is ideal for a restoration. For a wagon the original interior is in amazing condition with only the front driver's seat being torn and that's covered by a Buick Seat cover. The car runs and drives, brakes are ok, tranny seems strong and doesn't leak. The engine smokes and is a bit loud and should probably be rebuilt or replaced in the near future. I did replace the full exhaust system about a year ago thinking I would restore the car, but that dream has lapsed." I have a clear Tn. title in my name.
