Please Read Entire Description Before Bidding. I include detailed photos as well as descriptions in hopes to eliminate any surprises. I want you to know exactly what you are bidding on. 1968 Honda CT90 Vintage Trail 90 This bike starts up and runs and rides. I purchased this, along with three other trail 90's/CT200's from a local retired gentleman. This bike had not been operated in many years, but the previous owner had performed some work to the bike. The charging system has an updated rectifier and the bike has what appear to be new tires. However the front tire is 2.75-17 and is a bit oversized for this bike. It will rub occasionally on the front fender. Upon purchasing the bike, I replaced the fuel lines, battery, ignition switch and cleaned the carburetor. Currently the bike runs OK, but it seems to starve for fuel under load from mid-range to top-end of the RPM range. Also, the petcock leaks a bit of fuel. This bike would likely benefit greatly from a replacement carburetor. (Replacement carbs can be sourced very cheaply from Ebay) The handlebars are slightly bent and there are some minor spots of what appear to paint overspray on the seat. The headlight (high and low beams) and speedometer work well. The indicator lights in the speedo do not work. Also, the brake light and bracket are missing, but the wiring is there. Middle heat shield on exhaust is missing spacers, so it is a bit loose on the pipe, but it stays in place. This bike is a great candidate for restoration or with very little effort could be a fun rider. This is a favorite model for collectors with the older fork style and overall appearance, but does have the hi/low splitter on the gearbox rather than the older overlay sprocket. I am not a collector and only wanted to keep the easiest running of the bunch, without putting much effort into it. I have several British motorcycle projects and prefer to focus my limited time and attention on them. I do have a TN title in my name for the bike, which will make for an easy transition of ownership. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I'm happy to assist with loading, but shipping, and making shipping arrangements is solely the responsibility of the buyer. Local inspection is welcome and always encouraged. A PayPal Deposit of $100 is required upon the auction's end, and full payment via bank transfer, cashiers check, or cash in person is due within 5 days. I will not accept PayPal for full payment, unless you wish to add 7% to cover the associated fees. Title will be released upon full payment and pickup of the bike. The bike will not be released to a shipper until full payment has cleared. I will be away on vacation July 22-29. Pickup of the bike will not be possible during that time. I will store the bike for up to 18 days after the end of the sale. The winning bidder is expected to communicate payment and pickup plans promptly following the auction closing. If pickup is in person, I do have a CT200 parts bike that could be purchased cheaply along with this bike that includes good handlebars, tail light, etc.
