Up for auction is a 1988 BMW 535is model with a running engine and working transmission. This classic is a rare find. I recommend it for restoration purpose only. It was previously my working commute vehicle. Up until about more than two years ago, the a/c and the blower motor went and it has been sitting in my backyard since. The mileage and odometer are not working. The passenger side front door lock broke. I recently started up the engine and, amazingly, it still runs as good as since the time I stopped driving it. Both the engine and transmission are dry. There are no signs of leakage. The leather interior is in fair condition and it has no tears. However, the exterior paint needs some work. The power sunroof is still working as well as the power seat. However, the power seat headrest works intermittently. Please refer to all of the pictures and feel free to ask any questions. Good luck with bidding!On Jul-11-17 at 15:42:07 PDT, seller added the following information: Update: Here is what I found out more about this car: On 7/11/17 I started up the engine, the starter free spin about five times before it catch up and crank, but when it cranks the engine starts right away. Now I learn that both the driver side and the passenger side door locks are not working. Three power window doors are working fine except the passenger side door is now not working. Power sun roof is ok. Power seats are ok except the passenger side head rest is now stop going up and down but can hear the motor running when pressing the button. Lower beam and high beam are ok except one driver side front fog light is not on. Car shifts ok. I drove around the block and it was not overheat. Engine runs smooth. Checked engine light was not on. Coolant light and brake fluid light were on may be due to low of fluid. Please consider this carefully before bidding.
