Vehicle Detail

For sale is my 1971 Honda CT70 that has undergone a major overhaul and transformation. I'll start firstly that this is fully street legal, and is currently registered, plated, insured, and ridden. Secondly, the bike doesn't need anything....it is a throw your leg over, kick, and ride. Here is some information on the build. Frame was obviously stripped, primed, base coat, candy coat, clear coat. The original wheels were given the same treatment. It needs to be wiped down and the bike has never been washed or wet. The front end is an aftermarket that was specifically valved and sprung for a 190 lb rider and given 3/4" preload spacers. Front disc brake conversion with custom braided earls lines and fittings. Trees are billet aluminum Japanese Agras and bars are heavy BMX Rant bars with billet brake levers and gran-tourismo grips. Seat is brand new aftermarket from CHP in Texas. Tires are brand new Bridgestone trailwings (original equipment). All cables new. All chrome was blasted clean and painted glossy black to add a different look. Rear Honda Trail Bikes adjustable shocks. The engine is a completely torn down and built Honda TRX90 with kickstart conversion. Top end received some port work, cam, and big bore kit bringing the engine to 105cc. Topped with a mikuni vm20 carb. TRX90's have 4-speed centrifugal clutches...so no clutch lever, but you do need to shift. New sprockets, chain, brake pads, bearings. Every fastener on the bike is stainless. The exhaust is new, but is a chinese piece...however it seems of good quality and is designed for a big bore setup. So, how does it run? Excellent!...Runs out cleanly top to bottom without issue or hiccup. I've run it about 200 miles total to break it in and shake it down so everything is perfect, clean, and leak free. As for top speed, not sure. It will bury the speedo pretty easily (50mph) but seems real comfortable running 45mph. It is geared low because i was originally planning on dual sporting it. I think if you added a smaller rear sprocket, you'd see some more speed...currently geared 18/38...probably would be fine to gear it 18/35 or even 18/33 if you run primarily on the flat. Buyer is responsible for all shipping. I will be here to help you or your shipper load it. I will not ship on my own accord, dismantle, or take it to be shipped. It will not leave my possession until i have money cleared in my account. Paypal is ok, but you need to add 4% to cover any fees. Cash is king.
