Vehicle Detail

This is the fourth time I've listed this bike. I've been thinking what could be the reason it's not selling when I've seen bikes that do not have all the amazing accessories as my bike does go for a couple thousand dollars more than what I was originally offering it for. Perhaps the fault lies within the idea that people want these accessories. If you are at all like me, when I first bought my bikes, be it a BSA, a vintage Harley, or the BMW, I wanted all the period items I could get. I wasn't interested in reproduction parts if I could help it. The accessories are listed: OEM tire pump ($40)Hella lights ($160)Denfeld Front and rear solo seat ($700)Stock Seat ($200)Wixom Fairing ($250-$800)Euro Saddle Bags ($1500-$3000)Large Touring 6 gallon tank ($1500-$2500)Headlight crash bar (I might have the rear crash bar too) ($40)Stock tank ($250-$800) This equates to roughly $4600-$8200 of extras. Whether it's the low end or the high end, it brings whatever base value for the bike up by a considerable amount. If you sold these items except the stock seat and tank, you're getting the bike for a lower price or around base value. About the bike: All matching numbers. Daily rider for a decade, sadly must let most of my toys go so I can continue to make paintings. Starts on the first kick, runs very well. It's my understanding that I am the second owner. The bike is set up for touring and I have toured the southwest on this bike. A few times it has been used in conjunction with a side car (Which I'm not selling unless you are willing to throw in an extra $5500- side car has been used 3 times). I can arrange shipping, but you will have to pay the company directly. I use Keyboard Carriages normally. Hopefully this bike will find a home of someone who really loves it as I did and who rides it often. I had 72 vintage bikes, Nortons, Triumphs, BSA, Indians, HD, Moto Guzzi, but the /2 are by far my favourites. They are dependable, they are easy to work on, they are low maintance, fun to ride, and certainly head turners.
