My Loss is Your Gain! Over $6,000 invested in past 12 months. (Copy of work order receipts posted) It's with regret that I must sell my 2005 Cobalt SS Supercharged, 5 Speed manual transmission. The car has 185k miles, but is going strong with MANY new parts. Mobil-1 synthetic oil always used. The 2005 Cobalt SS Supercharged is a future collectible, only 1,039 made in red in model year 2005 out of a total SS production of only 3,454. Over $6000 invested in past 8 months, all documented, service and parts still under warranty, service done by professional shops (Long Island, NY) New Components and Services: (All professionally done, with receipts) - Fully Rebuild Transmission; synchro, gears, etc. ($1900) - New Clutch and flywheel ($2050) - New Engine Computer ($700) - New Starter Motor ($350) - Like New Ingen cold air intake - Like new SLP Exhaust and custom welded resonators ($500) - Sounds awesome! - New Front control arms ($1100) - New Radiator ($400) - New Clutch Slave cylinder ($220) - New Throttle Body ($300) - New MAP sensor ($230) - New paint on 75% of car ($1800 paid, done Jan 2016) Professionally bead-blast and black enamel paint on factory rims; - Less than 1500 miles on new performance 17" R40 tires All work done by professional auto repair shop, I have the receipts to everything, most of the mechanical work still under shop warranty The body is an 8.5/10 due to minor peeling clear coat in two spots (see photos). The roof,hood and fenders were repainted about a year ago. The premium leather interior is a 9.5/10 with absolutely no problems. The stereo is great with the sub factor trunk woofer, Some interior dash panels were sprayed red with plasti-dip, but can easily be peeled off. Known Issues: A/C not working, needs hose. The ABS light is on (does not affect ability to pass inspection) Only one ignition key Clear coat peeling on two areas Front plastic grill and license plate holder is missing. The car shifts great with the new transmission and is very responsive. The car was taken care of very well and not beaten on. Why am I selling? Need to raise money ASAP for my Fall 2017 college tuition bill
