Very well maintained, woman owned, great running and driving, stock and original 1997 Volkswagen Eurovan Camper with the Winnebago Winnie pop top and a very clean CarFax report. A friend of mine has owned it for the last 5 1/2 years and just replaced it with a Sportsmobile conversion so she has asked me to sell it for her. I'm the Ebay go-to guy among my friends and family. It runs and drives very well. I just drove 300 miles and found it cruises comfortably at 75mph. Spark plugs were just replaced and her mechanic gave it a clean bill of health at 173,693 miles. Tires are 215/70-R16 BF Goodrich All-Terrain Radial TA's and they have about 1/4 life remaining. The higher performance VR6 engine was introduced for the 1997 Model Year so this is the one to get. It runs nice and cool even with the AC turned up in 100 degree plus weather. The automatic transmission also shifts very smoothly. I would not hesitate to drive it cross-country tomorrow. The exterior is in very good condition (especially considering it's age). The CarFax shows an accident-free history and a life spent in Southern California for the first 15 years. The pop top roof has a small crack which doesn't affect functionality. Paint is original other than it appears the front bumper cover was repainted at some point. There is a shallow crease on the drivers side quarter panel. The Audi alloy rims are a nice addition as is the Sidewinder II aluminum awning. It also has a Class II receiver hitch installed. Drivers door had a new locking mechanism installed so it has it's own key. I rely heavily on my additional pictures to document exterior condition so please ask for them. The interior is in excellent condition. The upholstery front and rear has been protected by seat covers for years and it shows (I removed them for pictures but they are included). Two seatbelt retractors are weak and one folding armrest is not attached. Stereo is a complex, high-end Alpine unit with Bluetooth and Sirius/XM capability that I haven't figured out yet. Everything works up front other than the cruise control. It also has a new deep cycle battery. All the appliances work and the roof opens and closes properly. One of the 3 screens on the roof canvas is torn but can be zipped shut and two of the interior shades have come loose.
