Your chance to buy a "one owner" 1980 Honda. Also a great opportunity to own a bike light enough for anyone to ride, low enough for a five footer to reach the ground with both feet at a stop. The 200cc engine is plenty to take you to the coast and back (see the story of that below). I don't know what else to say. Uncomplicated, single carb engine is one of the smoothest Honda ever built. It did not make reserve on the last listing so I am starting it where it left off and offering it with no reserve. Bid like you want it!! My friend, Howard, bought this motorcycle new. He was a short man and this bike fit him perfectly. When I moved to town he used to stop by my office and visit me and tell me stories about riding "His twinstar" to New Jersey to visit relatives. (That is a long way from Nebraska!!) My favorite stories had to do with his rides to and through the Colorado Rockies. When we met he was riding a scooter but always talked about "getting his twinstar running". I tried to encourage him to let me have it for a couple of weeks and get it up and running so he could take more long rides on it. He never did. When Howard went to the nursing home I bought the bike, installed a few parts, (ignition coil was probably what defeated him), and here it is. When I went to get it his son could not find the right side cover, thus you see the replacement I found is installed but not painted as I could not match it myself. It looks nice. It runs nice. I am looking for someone with shorter legs and a desire to ride a small motorcycle on long trips. In other words...this bike needs another owner like the first. Some people rescue animals...I rescue old motorcycles. I have paraphrased the motto of the Ariel Owners Club. "Dedicated to keeping old Ariels (Motorcycles) on the road." If you have questions.
