97 del sol vtec model, 1 of 750 made, rare and in cypress green pearl more rare being that most made were black or red in 97'. Low miles, original paint, all original, never been modified non smoker adult driven, 100 % rust free even underside bolts etc. Originally was a one family owner car as i was told by the older gentleman that i purchased it from in Texas before i brought it back to Nebraska. He acquired the car from his father that had passed away in Tulsa and was a honda collector with several del sols. The older texas title with 23k and his fathers name as the previous owner etc cooberated the story as true. Appears to never have been driven in snow and salt and never seen winter conditions in my care as well as i am a serious honda collector with 10+ del sols and never drive any of my collection in bad weather or winter, only my work truck. Timing belt etc was done at around 90,000 by the dealer in austin as well as lots of other maintenance but I did not receive any maintenance history because the previous owner said he had misplaced it during moving and might have been thrown out. I have no reason not to believe him because the evidence of the cars condition and title conditions etc were true. With the vin# you could probably call the honda dealer and track down maintenance history i was just never concerned about it not being true. It is well kept and original paint is still glossy, being 20 years old it does have minor door dings and light scrathes etc but overall great shape for its age. Mechanically it runs like new, vtec engages very strong like new still. Does have a small oil leak from oil pan gasket i believe because i do notice a small oil spot where it sits in my warehouse, probably due to it sitting more than driving the gaskets dont get that hot and expand much. ( most my collection gets started and ran weekly but do not see the road much, mainly around the parking lot or down the street and back, i have 1-3 cars i keep insured and plated for driving but most just insured for collectibles as the case with this car) Also has a abs light on the dash due to a bad abs speed sensor, have not had on a proper diagnosing machine to determine which sensor but i am confident in that being it cause i see it alot dealing with older hondas. Does not affect the driving ability at all, just dash light on. Other than that pretty solid mechanically. Bodywise the only area that i was planning on addressing eventually would be the sail visor paint is starting to fade slightly from the texas sun so i would recommend repainting that at some point. Only Selling to fund my house remodel, and because i have a lower mileage 97 that i prefer over this one. Thanks and good luck.
