Heartbreak sale. This is a sweet ride. The interior was upgraded in 2014 to the "M" racing standard with 2 tone Red/Black leather heated bucket seats. New black floor carpet and 2 tone red black dash and door panels only found on the Z3-M. New "M" steering wheel & gear shift. 'M' branded sills for the entry doors, foot peddles, center console upgraded to include voltmeter, clock, and oil temperature gauges. New Pioneer DEH-X4900BT Mixtrax sound system installed with CD, USB, bluetooth, iphone and android pairing, spotify and Pandora, detachable face with single-line 13-character display and variable color illumination with separate control of display and buttons. Built-in MOSFET amplifier (14 watts RMS CEA-2006/50 peak x 4 channels) Engine has 98200 miles, starts first time and purrs like a kitten. 2.8 liter straight 6, 5 speed manual shift. Power windows and convertible top, ASC, Cold A/C and heater works well. Cruise Control built in. Everything works. Imola Red paint has some stone chips in it, pretty normal for a Z3 of this age. This is an M version without the cost. This car is here in St Petersberg with a Permanent Montana plate and registration on it. I had planned on moving here for good but am now having to return to Montana for family reasons and do not want to tow it back. I used it so little there and I think it deserves a home in the Sun where it will get regular use. I have owned it since 2006 at which time the odometer reading was 88,241 so I have put less than 1000 miles per year. I noticed on the included free report that ebay provides, there is an anomaly in the mileage on 7/31/2000. I cannot explain this and it's the first I have seen it but I think it must have been a typo because it was reported during a state emissions test, but it shows 102,000 for that date then on 7/18/2001 the mileage goes back to 38,691 and continues normally from there. On Jun-06-17 at 10:29:15 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE: In checking the vehicle over the weekend I turned on the A/C and found it was blowing warm air. Since I never drive the vehicle with the top up I had not noticed this problem and so I took it for a recharge today and was told there is a small leak at the evaporator which will need replacement. They did charge the system and it's holding for now but they told me it may last a month or a few months but it needs fixing. Price for them to fix it with a new dryer would be about $900.00. Including a new dryer. The part is about $200 and a 3 hr job for most backyard mechanics. Please take this into account when placing bids. I will not sell the car cheaper to cover this repair.
