I was a single dad with a BMW, a Vette and a Porsche...I got married and we had a baby, so we bought a Honda Pilot - selling the BMW and Vette - keeping the Porsche! My BMW was my daily driver for years! I sold a ton of real estate driving it around. My mechanic once said that a lot of expensive Bimmer owners would comment on my car - it has that classic look, plus I had it lowered with Bilsteins, spent about $3,000 rebuilding the whole suspension - it handles amazingly well! It is also pretty fast, but not as fast as my other cars...I have only seen one other BMW in my area with the same 3-piece split rims - they were about $3500...I upgraded the headlights to the "angel eyes" style, about $650...The rear lights are upgraded, about $200...all the other exterior lights are the blacked out look, and the interior lights are all upgraded to LEDs...The instrument panel has a carbon fiber overlay with the upgraded gauge rings, and the steering wheel badge and exterior badges are upgraded. The sunroof works great. I am all about the driving experience - I never listen to the radio - just the motor! So the little droop in the rear headliner and a few other minor defects are far outweighed by the way it runs. The V8 motor is original and runs strong - I had both the transmission and rear end rebuilt. 15 City/22 Hwy MPG. It looks low to the ground and very aggressive...so I am told. The speedometer stopped at about 156M. I never bothered to fix it. The title is clean and free and clear. I will be retaining my custom license plates. Reasonable reserve. I would not hesitate to take off to Northern California, Vegas, San Diego...wherever! Good luck finding a better looking, better running car at a better price! HERE IS SOME ADDITIONAL INFO: AC BLOWS COLD, ALSO HAS SIDE AIRBAGS, NO DASH CRACKS, ALL WINDOWS WORK PERFECTLY, TINTED WINDOWS, ALMOST NEW MEATY SUMITOMO STEEL-BELTED RADIALS, CERAMIC DISC BRAKES, CROSS DRILLED/SLOTTED ROTORS, REPLACED RADIATOR LAST YEAR - CAN IDLE AT 800 RPM IN THE DESERT FOR 20 MINUTES WITHOUT MOVING THE NEEDLE. FRONT SEATS, LEATHER STEERING WHEEL, AND LEFT VISOR SHOW WEAR - MIGHT NEED TO GET A BLACK LEATHER STEERING WHEEL WRAP, AND SOME FRONT SEAT COVERS TO DRESS IT UP! I ALSO HAVE BLACK/CHROME BMW DOOR SILLS AND CUSTOM BLACK MATS WITH BMW LOGO. ONE OTHER THING...I NOTICED WHEN I LISTED MY CAR THAT THERE IS A RECORD OF A MINOR TRAFFIC ACCIDENT - MY FUTURE WIFE AT THE TIME AND I WERE STOPPED IN A LONG LINE OF TRAFFIC UP IN OROVILLE, CA, AND WE WERE REAR-ENDED BY A YOUNG GIRL WHO WAS EATING, OR TEXTING, OR BOTH - NOT PAYING ATTENTION. IT DESTROYED HER HONDA ACCORD - MY REAR BUMPER DID JUST WHAT IT WAS DESIGNED TO DO - IT TOOK THE HIT BUT PROTECTED THE REST OF THE CAR! SHE DID NOT HAVE INSURANCE, SO MY INSURANCE COMPANY CUT ME A CHECK FOR $4100. I HAD A FRIEND OF MINE SELL ME A BUMPER OFF HIS GREEN 740I WITH ONLY 80M ON IT - HE CHARGED ME $80 FOR THE BUMPER, AND $40 TO HELP ME SWITCH IT OUT - THE BODY SHOP CHARGED ME $240 TO DISASSEMBLE, PAINT IT WHITE, AND REINSTALL THE BUMPER...SO FOR $360 IT LOOKED BETTER THAN BEFORE! MAYBE YOU WILL GET LUCKY AND GET REAR-ENDED AND CAN DO THE SAME THING! BOTTOM LINE IS I FEEL LIKE I ALREADY SOLD MY CAR FOR ALMOST $4000 - ANYTHING EXTRA I GET ON EBAY IS KIND OF LIKE A BONUS TO ME!
