Up for bid is a very solid 1966 Ford Fairlane 500. This car was driven to Vermont from Oregon 20 yrs ago, and has been stored during the winter months. The body is very clean, straight and solid . The car has had one re-paint at some point. It still shows well but has expected wear ( a nice twenty footer.) The engine runs very strong with no issues . According to the previous owner the car retains the original 289 block, but has been bored and stroked ,larger camshaft , solid push rods. after market Trick Flow heads, Weiland intake and Edelbrock carb now 342 CI. The transmission its self (3 speed manual) performs fine but will need a linkage adjustment going in 2nd gear .It does have a duel mass clutch which works excellent and a Ford 8"rear end with Dana Locker. The odometer reads 65365 but is not currently working. It appears the modifications to this car have been done right.This car is Vermont state inspected and can be driven. It could be used and enjoyed in its current condition ,or would be a perfect candidate to bring to the next level.
