For sale is my 2001 BMW 540i Sport. It's a two owner, European delivery car with 109,900 miles. I purchased the car in 2011 from the original owner. I have extensive service records for the vehicle. It's a striking color combination and looks remarkable on a sunny day. I've included pictures under different lighting conditions. There are 3 dings on the driver's side and the passenger side is clean. There is some pitting on the front of the hood from road debris. Car is entirely stock and never had any type of body work or painting. The rear bumper has a small circular impression about 1/2 inch wide. All four wheels have some very minor curb rash that could be easily repaired (please see pics). Car is extremely handsome and you will get compliments. Interior Condition:Leather is in very good condition. The dashboard LED panel was replaced with the upgraded panel in 2003, so all pixels are working! Absolutely no dead pixels. One of the buttons on the HVAC panel has a crack but still works. No other damage. All accessories are working.Mechanical Condition:The car has been extensively maintained by BMW and Bavarian Professionals in Berkeley, CA. They know the car very well. Engine is strong, sounds amazing and still feels like a $60k motor. Oil religiously changed every 5k miles with synthetic. Most recent change was at 107k. Transmission shifts quick and positive. Car is super-smooth on the highway. A/C is ice cold. The tires and brakes are perfect. Radiator and valley pan were replaced 15k miles ago. I have been told by BMW and Bav Pro's that the valve cover gaskets need changing. Car also has a slow power steering fluid leak.
