Vehicle Detail
96 Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This bike is original (as far as I can tell) and in fabulous condition. I purchased it from the first owner in Rochester New York who bought it from Rochester Triumph, new in 1971. He was in his 70's and his son was selling it on his behalf. I had the bike shipped to my home in Westchester New York and then registered it for the road with a new license plate. I bought it in January 2012 and it has been garaged and covered ever since. I have rode it a little (about 1,000 miles in 5 years). I had a new water pump installed in 2013 and as it was smoking from the middle cylinder, cylinder head rebuilt (pistons, rings and values) by The Classic Motorcycle Co, CT. I have kept all the original parts and receipts to retain its provenance. It starts and runs (with a little coaxing from cold; tickle all three carbs before getting it to TDC and it kicks into life with a quarter throttle). This is a stellar example of an early 70's legend. On May-08-17 at 03:32:45 PDT, seller added the following information: his bike is original (as far as I can tell) and in fabulous condition.
