This is a 1999 Toyota LandCruiser SUV. It is a good investment for someone willing to put a little in, because these trucks are designed to go forever. It has 214,775 miles on it but those are almost entirely freeway miles, and it's never been off-roaded, just up to the snow. It does need a few things, and I'll describe those later. The Landcruiser comes completely loaded. If you've never owned one, they're great trucks, very stable, powerful and capable. This Landcruiser has been on salt free roads all its life (Dallas until 2002, then Southern California). I think Ebay will include the detailed AutoCheck Vehicle History Report, showing clear title, mileage and much more, but if it doesn't show, take the VIN number and run it (free). The engine is strong as well as the transmission and the suspension. I've changed the oil very regularly and done the periodic engine maintenance as well. The shocks were replaced 30k miles ago and the tires 4k ago. All leather seats. The third row seats are perfect, having never been used. The second row bench is in very good shape. The tires are almost new with only about 4000 miles on them (see picture). It includes Thule roof racks, and I'll throw in the paddle board /kayak racks for $100 extra if you want them. The interior is tan leather seats and liners, and matching carpet, wood trimmed appointments. There's a full tow package with 2 different sizes of tow balls included. The sunroof is awesome, and works well in 2 retracting positions. My wife loves this. The Toyota car alarm works well. Radio works well, retractable antenna works, the CD player and cassette player are good, all the speakers are good, all the knobs and controls work (see the section on power door locks.) The seat heaters work well, glove box light, interior lights, accent lights. Heater works well. AC needs work (see below) Here are the things that need to be addressed. My mechanic (Auto Repair of San Clemente, (949) 498-2941) says it probably needs a new throttle body assembly. The part is about $1100 on Ebay for a brand new one with a warranty, and about $300 labor. The part is exactly: Toyota Land Cruiser 4.7L V8 OEM Throttle Body w/ Motor 22030-50142 . It also needs the air conditioning replaced and he estimated that repair at $1700-$2000, mostly labor. There are normal scratches and scrapes for a car this age. The most noticeable ones are: 1) scrapes on the bumper (see photos), 2) two small dents in the hood (see photos), 3) a small bump on the left back panel (see photo) 4) a small paint ding on the driver's door (photo). There's a small leak in the driver's door seal that you notice in heavy rain. The front drivers seat is cracked and torn, and needs to be sewn or re-upholstered, but the mechanics of all the seats are good, and the leather on the other seats is good. The power door locks are slow or don't work always. I've had the controller in the driver's door replaced and that helped. The carpet is in fair shape and is stained and worn in places, especially under the driver's feet. The back driver's side door was replaced in 2001 because it was deeply dented. Nothing structural, but the paint on the replacement door window jam is faded. This Landcruiser is available for local pickup, or buyer can arrange shipping. I am not responsible for shipping.
