You are buying one of the nicest, most beautiful original Gold Wings out there. This bike has only had 2 owners and only has 12,226 ORIGINAL MILES!!!! The bike is MINT. It is flawless!! I say this with full confidence and knowledge. The bike bike starts, runs, idles and performs flawlessly. Every single item on this bike works perfect, including the built in stereo/radio!!! I rode this "Wing" yesterday and it blew me away. It is so smooth and so beautiful to ride. The 1978 has always been my favorite Gold Wing. I think it is the look with the gauges on the tank and the cool looking exhaust. This Gold Wing has the original Honda exhaust which has the original Honda numbers stamped on it. It is flawless. No rust. No dings or dents. The previous owner kept this bike indoors. It has never been in the weather, and, he said he never rode it in the rain or on a dirt road its' whole life. And it shows. Not a scratch anywhere. Not a dent anywhere. The paint is perfect and the bike could pass as a new bike. And I know i am not supposed to pass my cosmetic opinions on bikes because what I think is mint, someone else might not. I get it. But, all I can tell you is that anyone who knows Gold Wings will love this one. That said, the rear tire probably is about 50% wear left. That's the only item that you might want to keep track of. You can buy with confidence on this bike. You will not be disappointed!!!
