Vehicle Detail
This is a running, driving, lifted, stickshift 4 door Honda. I've put a lot of miles on this car and would honestly drive it anywhere. 1. I bought it january of 2017, from a pizza delivery guy. He had damaged the front end in a minor collision, and put in a radiator. The car has front end damage. 2. I drained the green and put proper blue honda coolant in it. Also did an oil/filter change and spark plugs at that time. Also changed a leaky heater core hose.3. We replaced the brake pads and calipers on the front, and replaced a wheel cylinder and replaced shoes on both rear brake systems and bled system. Pedal is spongy, but works. may need hose or booster to get a stiff pedal.4. The car had newer struts all around, and we added 40mm lift spacers at each corner. Looks cool5. We replaced a bushing in one of the rear control arms, it still needs a trailing arm bushing on rear right. I also replaced front left side motor mount.6. I replaced the stock shifter with a short throw billet unit and knob. It has ball bearing guides and I used Energy suspension urethane shifter bushing kit, it works very well. 40% shorter throw then stock, and looks good.7. I put 17" aluminum wheels with 215/45/ZR17 continental extreme contact tires all around. Front ones are like new, rears have some wear. Bought the set used at a local junkyard. Stock 14" steel wheels with decent tread tires come included with sale of car. 4x100mm bolt pattern8. We also added an upper strut stabilizer bar to the rear of the car. The front upper stabilizer wouldn't jive with stock airbox/filter setup so is not installed. Will come with the car though. 9.Car reads 205xxx on odometer but does not work, nor does speedometer. Previous owner stated odometer hadn't worked in several years. Car likely has 250,000 miles on it. Fuel and temp guage work fine. SRS light is currently on, don't know why.10. We replaced the alternator 4/30/2017. Starts, runs, charges fine11. Steering system has not held fluid since I bought it. Leaking from driver side inner tie rod seal. Works fine, but would recommend an entire rack. 12. Car had exhaust leak at muffler when I purchased it, and exhaust made it through 95% of the rally. It broke at mid pipe and at tailpipe so car currently is running very little exhaust. Has less than 50mi on it since it broke off, has been parked indoors since. We prepped and ran it in the first ever Detroit Gambler 500 road rally. Car comes with Gambler coin, and laminated copy of the GPS coordinates from the event. It's had a recent oil change, and when I was driving it daily before the event, used about a pint/month motor oil. Does not leak, or visibly burn it, just uses it, common for old motors. It's a SOHC 1600cc D series motor, with a 5 speed. Car has good clutch, all lights work, radio still works, all doors open and close well, windows crank fine, trunk and gas door latch work fine. Hood latch is peculiar due to previous front end damage. Headlights are cracked at mounting points here and there, but work fine. All glass is good, rear window defrost works fine, seats adjust, fan speeds work, wipers work. Goes down the road pretty smooth, we ran the highway a lot. THIS CAR IS NOT PERFECT OR COMPLETE. Half the interior was removed to save weight/make room for rally gear. You could bus/fly in and drive this thing home. It has very little rust coming through the paint. Dings and dents, of course.
