Sellers note: I am selling this vehicle for my neighbor. I have taken all the photos. I have looked the car over thoroughly and feel confident listing it for him. Questions, contact Ivan: 304-772-4201 =================================================================== Cummins Powered Suburban Here is a rare 2003 Suburban 1500 with a 4BT Cummins turbo diesel engine. 3.9 liter 4 cyl. The engine is coupled to the factory transmission with a stand alone computer that is fully tunable with a laptop. It also has the Gear Vendors overdrive gearbox behind the transmission so you can cruise the highways efficiently at low rpm's. The fuel mileage yields between 25 and 30 mpg hwy. The body is very solid and rust free. Has lived in Texas for first 6 years, Kentucky and California. It has leather bucket seats for the first two rows and a 3rd row bench. The front end has recently been serviced with new ball joints etc. Very cold A/C, Factory cruise control, Roof Rack, Tow Hitch, Airbags in front. Exhaust is in excellent rust free condition.. 3 inch flow. Tires are good with about 70% tread. All components, switches & buttons work. The interior is in nice shape. It is used yet clean and not worn out. No rips or tears or stains anywhere. No water leaks, no strange odors. Non-smokers. The conversion was done 10 years ago. The Cummins engine is a 1992.. it came off of a service van "Bread Truck." It was inspected by dropping the oil pan and checking for wear before being installed. It had about 200k miles at the time. Flaws & Imperfections: The body is rust free but does have some minor issues. The only dent is at the right rear fender at the bumper. There is a photo showing this. There is paint peel on the front of the hood & above the windshield at driver side (see photos). The grill has some chrome peel. There is a scratch through the paint on drivers side front panel near wheel well, right above the added Cummins decal. The passenger door has two small chips. The plastic backing on the passenger side mirror has a crack the size of a quarter. The inside of the passenger door handle has clear tape to control flexing where handle is attached to inner door panel. The title is clear. This Suburban is very reliable. It can drive across the country multiple times in the condition it is in. It currently does not need any service. Attention California residents: This Suburban is being sold because it will not pass smog test in California where the owner and vehicle are from. The owner drove it to West Virginia and gave / traded it to his cousin who has owned it for the last few years and is now selling here because his family is moving.
