This 1968 Impala was ordered new at Crescent Chevrolet in Des Moines, Iowa. The car has been driven just over 39000 miles since new and is nearly 100 original. The paint and body are 100 original as are the interior and vinyl top. The body is incredible. The paint is not perfect but close. No door dings. No blisters. No rust through. The floors, wheel wells, trunk and rockers have nothing more than surface rust. The interior is incredible. The dash and door panels are near perfect. The ashtray and lighter have never been used. The headliner and visors are perfect. The weatherstrip is all still soft and supple. I installed a new battery, tires, brakes on it yesterday and drove it today (4-29-17). It runs and drives like a 39000 mile car. This is an awesome car.
