2002 Toyota RAV-4 Electric Vehicle This is one of 328 that were sold to the general public. A Davis CA. Real Estate company purchased two from the local Hanlees Toyota. Both were always properly serviced and used regularly until I purchased this one on 1/10/17.As evidence of the gentle use and proper care it has had, look closely at the interior, and the tires which may be original equipment. As it was one of the last sold, it has all the optional accessories including time of day charging, pre-air conditioning, and heated seats. Two Toyota chargers with stands are included. Toyota tested the 27.4 KW nickel metal hydride battery pack to 300,000 miles before introducing the vehicles to the USA, and some owners have reported they are still going strong at 150,000 miles.Toyota claimed the original range was 95 miles, but from what I’ve learned, a realistic range when driven reasonably, was about 80 miles. Even though this vehicle has 70,564 miles and 15 years old, we’ve driven it 65+ miles between charges. The only reason it is for sale is we have a 1998 Ford Ranger EV and have more use for a pickup than a passenger vehicle.The California title is clear, and it is registered through September 16, 2017.Look at the Toyota RAV-4 wiki for a lot of detailed information.
